@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, Texas, and Peggy Lee doing Christmas Carousel was great and reminded me of this American musical.

These two vocalists are fantastic.

ehBeth, Welcome back to you as well.

Loved Serena; especially Donny's Christmas, and Across the Universe sounded like such fun. Did that astronaut fly you to the moon? Razz

edgar, hope you will check out my Carousal. James' Goodnight Cruel World was also good as was Ed's O Holy Night.

Time for me to say goodnight and I think that I shall do so with The Temptations: If it doesn't work, I hope you folks will bump it up for me.

Today is Noel Edmonds birthday, a minor British celebrity. This is what it says about him on the birthdays website.

Noel Edmonds, British TV personality (Foul-ups, Bleeps & Blunders).

It made me smile.

This has got nothing to do with him.

edgar, Loved Harry's The Land and the Sea of the Sun.

Pushman, The Stranglers doing Duchess was fantastic. I love that traditional top hat of the man confirming wealth and royalty and the Duchess in her traditional dress.

Critics once observed that Enrico Caruso and Paul Robeson were tops in the bass voice as Caruso was in the tenors.

Paul.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for your comment and personal acknowledgement, edgar.

You sent me searching:

Jerry Butler is an American soul singer and songwriter. He is also noted as being the original lead singer of the famed R&B vocal group, The Impressions, as well as a 1991 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Butler is also an American politician.

Here are The Impressions:

Although Jerry was with The Impressions, he left the group about five years before People Get Ready was recorded.
