@izzythepush,
Hmm, my last response was hijacked by an add on.

Welcome back, pushman. Remember, we don't post we PLAY here on our radio.

Thanks for the history lesson and your chairman of the Board. Great one. You missed our tribute to Johnny Mercer, and Bobby doing My Buddy made me think of me calling you "my buddy".

Time is a factory in all of our lives. The Rolling Stones sing about it.

Hey, Neco, I picked Gene Pitney. He sang The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence, and it didn't get played in the movie.

Love that one by Bobby Darin. Those animals were so dear.

Morgan, really liked that one by you, but all I could think of was "Off we go into the wild blue yonder.." Razz

Hey, pushman. I always like what you listen to. Good one. You're still my buddy.

Today is Jody Foster's birthday, and although I read the book and saw the movie, none of it impressed me. "Hannibal the Cannibal"

Now, a Thanksgiving bit that is so true.

edgar, thanks for the bump.

@Letty,
Jukebox is my favorite Gene Pitney number - I mentally drift back to my one-jukebox hometown town in Texas whenever it comes to mind.

And now - pack an overnight bag :

Let's take off to somewhere where they sing in italian:

Morgan, I missed your pink. Great one. Didn't know it so thanks again for the introduction. Hey, pushman, "Off we go into the wild blue yonder"? Loved it, buddy. Actually My Buddy was about the pair in the foxholes.

neco, I have a song that will be a wonderful place for your plane to fly.

edgar, I loved Green Acres. Didn't Eva get in trouble when she slapped a policeman?

Going to say goodnight with two songs. First a place for nomad's plane to fly.

Now, inspired by our edgar, a member of Green Acres on the Johnny Cash show.

@edgarblythe,
Hurry back, edgar, and I truly enjoyed Tracy's The Promise. You sent me searching, Texas.

Tracy Chapman is an American singer-songwriter, known for her singles "Fast Car", "Talkin' 'bout a Revolution", "Baby Can I Hold You", "Crossroads", "Give Me One Reason" and "Telling Stories".

Calling Wandel.

@neko nomad,
neko, you clever man. I had forgotten to press the picture to hear the music. Love it. You press the two songs that I played for the morning. You're right. Those lovely beach palms are a great place to be.

I don't know if you were in our studio when The Russians did Those were the
Days.

Here's the first one by Mary that I learned to play on tenor ukelele

a " cool " good morning from Ontario - it's just around the freezing mark .

it's the birthday of Coleman Hawkins today .

Quote:
Coleman Randolph Hawkins (November 21, 1904 – May 19, 1969), nicknamed Hawk and sometimes "Bean", was an American jazz tenor saxophonist.[2] One of the first prominent jazz musicians on his instrument, as Joachim E. Berendt explained: "there were some tenor players before him, but the instrument was not an acknowledged jazz horn".[3] While Hawkins is strongly associated with the swing music and big band era, he had a role in the development of bebop in the 1940s.[
