Love the mix of music on our radio today. Don't forget to check out Ray Charles, y'all.

edgar, don't know When the Ship Comes in by "the jester". Good one,Texas.

Going to say goodnight with two songs. First, inspired by Morgan's Madonna, a song that is taken from a poem.

Now, for our Texas friends.

Latin George, Welcome back. Sometimes losing a friend is almost as difficult as losing a family member. I have lost so many. Love Andrea doing the bagpipe song.

If our contributors are able, listen to Moonlight Madonna and the Texas song.
edgar, Love Peace in the Valley by "the king".

Trying2learn, I don't know what your question is, dear. Perhaps later it will work.

Where are our Canadian friends? Here's another man from Canada whose birthday is today.

A friend of mine from Jacksonville, Fl. said that a cold sweeping of Canadian air caused us to have really cold session here.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for restoring our signal and your comment , edgar. Love Johnny doing The Night Hank Williams Came to Town.

Today is this guy's birthday, but I couldn't find the proper tribute.

Stephen Root (born November 17, 1951) is a voice actor on King of the Hill. He provides the voice of Bill Dauterive, Buck Strickland, and other minor characters.

Root also has appeared in the live action films Office Space and Idiocracy, both written and directed by King of the Hill co-creator Mike Judge.

Loved King of the Hill, but I guess we can also listen to King of the Road

It's peter Cook's birthday today. I think he's the funniest man that ever lived, but he never cracked America, not like the other two gentlemen in this sketch.

@izzythepush,
Welcome back, pushman. I don't know Peter Cook, but he was funny in that skit. Thanks again for the introduction.

Do know Dudley and Peter, however. Remember The Mouse That Roared?

Peter Sellers was brilliant. I didn't know he was British.

@Letty,
He was in The Goon Show, Prince Charles' favourite radio programme, how could he be anything but.

Yes I do remember The Mouse That Roared.

Take care in googling Peter Cook, you may find Derek and Clive a bit too filthy.

This is Peter Cook and Spike Milligan in The Goons.

I thought Peter Sellers ran the gamut from brilliant to dull, depending on the film. I miss him, however.

Hey, pushman, Didn't know The Goon Show, but if they can make a prince laugh, they must be good. I did see a quick clip of One Legged Tarzan.

edgar, Love that one by Harry. Yep, "give me the simple life".

Morgan, Welcome back. Sunday is Funday? Love it and although I don't know that group, Tonight was a good one.

I love all the music that is played on our radio and it reminds me of The Doobie Brothers.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, didn't know Maxwell's Silver Hammer by "the fab four". it was great, of course. we'll dedicate that to our British friends.

Well, our pushman has done the BBC so I wonder where Fresco is?

Going to say goodnight with two songs. (wish I could play Beautiful Moonlight Madonna)

First, Liza with a z.

Now, because I met a lovely lady from Hawaii today and we smiled and beamed at each other.

Now one by the king.
