edgar, Thanks for your comments and I really love Cielito Lindo by Freddy.

POM, not certain what you mean, but welcome back.

hbg,That medley by that German guy was great.

Morgan, welcome back to you as well. Love Mozart Meets Kelley.

TTL, If I've already acknowledged All I need is a Miracle, it's worth repeating.

For some reason the color blue is stuck in my head, so here is The Four Freshmen.

@Letty,
I don't like many Elton John songs but this is an exception.

@jcboy,
Now I know why indigo was stuck in my head. It was because edgar played The Indigo Girls doing that River song.

Morgan, I love Sir Elton. The first one that I ever heard by him was Daniel. Don't know Blessed by him, but it was great too. Here's one that my students said was my theme song.

Wonderful music today on WA2K.

Love I Want to Know What Love is by Foreigner. edgar.

ah, TTL, Tears in Heaven was sad. It was about Eric's little boy who died.

Let's get some rhythm going, shall we?

Today is Dorothy Dandridge's birthday so let's listen.

Never had a better time than today on WA2K. edgar, I love Ray Charles, but don't know that song by him.

Going to say goodnight with the opera Carmen by George Bizet.

The aria.

Now, the lyrics in English.

Nothing helps, neither threat nor prayer.
One man talks well, the other's mum;
it's the other one that I prefer.
He's silent but I like his looks.

Love! Love! Love! Love!

Love is a gypsy's child,
it has never, ever, known a law;
love me not, then I love you;
if I love you, you'd best beware! etc.

The bird you thought you had caught
beat its wings and flew away ...
love stays away, you wait and wait;
when least expected, there it is!

All around you, swift, so swift,
it comes, it goes, and then returns ...
you think you hold it fast, it flees
you think you're free, it holds you fast.

Love! Love! Love! Love!

Love is a gypsy's child,
it has never, ever, known a law;
love me not, then I love you;
if I love you, you'd best beware!

Thanks again for your personal acknowledgement.

From Letty with love that will never die.

... and the second part of my post :

Quote:
Walter Maynard Ferguson (May 4, 1928 – August 23, 2006) was a Canadian jazz musician and bandleader. He came to prominence playing in Stan Kenton's orchestra, before forming his own band in 1957. He was noted for being able to play accurately in a remarkably high register, and for his bands, which served as stepping stones for up-and-coming talent
