@McTag,
Welcome back, McTag. That song by Bobby reminded me of the expression "go forth and multiply. " Razz

I lost my last response, and I think it's because I had a sleepless night worrying about tropical storm Karen. It's headed NW and my daughter is supposed to come here tomorrow and I hope she doesn't have to drive through it.

More synchronicity. Today is Kate Winslet's birthday, and she also sang My Heart Will Go On.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6qqZB0dIL0

Also Andre Rieu plays it on his violin.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1534hEh2Ok

Hope this response works, y'all

@edgarblythe,
That was hilarious, edgar. I know The Kingston Trio, and you and I both know this guy. His birthday is today.

We know his best for Kon Tiki and The RA experience.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for your comment, edgar, and I love Drifting Along with the Tumbling Tumbleweed by those sons.

Saying goodnight with two moon songs.

First, Carolina Moon

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-EuiMTGd2o

and, the lyrics

Carolina moon keep shining, shining on the one who waits for me
Carolina moon I'm pining pining for the place I long to be

How I'm hoping tonight you'll go to the right window
Scatter your light say I'm alright please do
Tell her that I'm blue and lonely dreamy Carolina moon
Shining on the one who waits for me

Now, Simon and Garfunkel

Today is the anniversary of my son's demise. I remember him with smiles, not tears. This is the hymn that we played at his memorial service, and it's a great one for Sunday here.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kPkjghup8E

It is also my daughter's birthday, and she is on her way here.

My birthday as well, and I am the resident witch. Razz

When I tell people that, some say, "No you're not and others get the humor and smile"

Loch Lomond and Crown Him are some great music. I emphasize with you on the death of your son. October is the month of birth for my lost brothers, Sam and Roger.

@edgarblythe,
Love that one by Ricky, edgar, and I recall my having written a tribute to your brother Sam. Thanks again for your comments.

For some reason, Dave asked my daughter and me to sing, Lo How a Rose. The miracle part of that one had to do with his dead rose bush returning to its full glory.

I won't go into the horror of someone cutting it down, but suffice it to say, I now have a stone elephant with a rose bush on it. That was the result of his being my little elephant when he was three months old swaying back and forth with a smile
