@edgarblythe,
edgar, Love your explanation of the octopus, and although I don't know Leapy Lee, Little Arrows was a good one.

Well, we all know that "octo" means eight in Latin so hear is a funny by Ogden Nash.

The Octopus

Tell me, O Octopus, I begs
Is those things arms, or is they legs?
I marvel at thee, Octopus;
If I were thou, I'd call me Us.
Ogden Nash

Now, here's a birthday guy.

Well, although Richard and odgen played twice, it was worth it.

Listened to all your songs, Texas. All were good.

I sort of like Richard Gere. Ogden Nash is a fun poet.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, edgar. Your Noah's Ark by Dorsey Burnette was great, and although our listeners may get a bit tired of me saluting Johnny Mercer, here's a small part of Noah in this song.

Good morning from here in Florida.

Hey, hbg and Trying to Learn gal. Y'all missed Celtic Lady's Rose and Mickey's Orchid.

Ontario, loved Eydie's Blame it on The Bossa Nova. Also enjoyed Roy's Only the Lonely. Hugh Laurie and Irma's John Henry was fantastic. I used to watch Dr. House all the time and was stunned to find out that Hugh was British and a fantastic musician. You might want to go back and edit The Boswell Sisters song to "....AT THE BOTTOM..." Razz

Here's one of my favorite performers and today is his birthday.

He's the one in the middle of the Bee Gees and the tallest one.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks, Texas, for keeping us on the air and your comment.

Love Tom T Hall. doing Whose Gonna Feed Them Hawgs. Reminds me a bit of Animal Farm. "four legs good; two legs bad"..
