Bob Seger - Against the Wind

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcDCvQbOdig

Quote:
Robert Clark "Bob" Seger (born May 6, 1945) is an American rock and roll singer-songwriter, guitarist and pianist.

As a locally successful Detroit-area artist, he performed and recorded as Bob Seger and the Last Heard and Bob Seger System throughout the 1960s. By the early 1970s, he had dropped the "System" from his recordings and continued to strive for broader success with other various bands. In 1973, he put together The Silver Bullet Band, a group of Detroit-area musicians, with whom he became most successful on the national level with the album Live Bullet, recorded live with the Silver Bullet Band in 1975 at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan. In 1976, he achieved a national breakout with the studio album Night Moves. On his studio albums, he also worked extensively with the Alabama-based Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, which appeared on several of Seger's best-selling singles and albums.

edgar, Dinah is there anyone finah. Razz Thanks for your comment and I love that
Washington gal.

yitwail, Welcome back to you, as well. Yep, You've Changed by Billie is sad but good.

Here's another birthday classic, but first some info.

Johannes Brahms was a German composer and pianist. Born in Hamburg into a Lutheran family, Brahms spent much of his professional life in Vienna, Austria, where he was a leader of the musical scene.

One of my favorites by that wonderful composer.

Wonder if hbg knows him.

@edgarblythe,
Hilarious, edgar. (glad you like classical). Didn't know Debbie, but I certainly know that Allan. Love the title Allan in Wonderland. I Can't Dance was funny. Thanks for the smile.

Another Allan.

........................................................................................

this is the house where Johannes Brahms was born - a rather old and rickity one - i walked past it every day on my way to and from school .
