@edgarblythe,
Didn't know that "the king" did When My Blue Moon Turns to Gold Again, edgar. It was a good one.

This ought to be put on your "I Think" forum. It's his birthday.

The music is Mozart's Turkish Rondo.

I don't see why it belongs there. It's what somebody else thinks, not me.

edgar, That was a joke, and your follow up with I think was great

hbg, Alison does a great job with Haydn's concerto, and the added jazz song They Can't Take That Away from me was perfect. Thanks for your comments, too.

Going to say goodnight with two songs.

First a birthday guy and here is some info.

Ryan Bingham (born March 31, 1981) is an Americana singer-songwriter currently based in Los Angeles, California.

After garnering critical acclaim for his first two studio releases on Lost Highway Records, 2007's Mescalito and 2009's Roadhouse Sun, Ryan Bingham went on to collaborate with Grammy-winning producer T Bone Burnett on the soundtrack for the 2009 acclaimed film Crazy Heart, including notably co-penning & performing the film’s award-winning theme song "The Weary Kind". The title track earned Bingham an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, and Critics' Choice Award for “Best Song” in 2010, as well as a Grammy Award for "Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media" in 2011.[6] As a result of his monumental year, the Americana Music Association honored Bingham with the organization's top award in 2010: “Artist of the Year”

The ill-fated fleas had been due to perform at a fair on Sunday
A circus in Germany has been scrambling to replace a troupe of fleas that was entirely wiped out by this spring's freezing weather.

Robert Birk said he found some 300 fleas dead inside their transport box earlier in the week.

It was the first time the cold had killed a whole troupe in one go.

A university insect expert Professor Heinz Mehlhorn managed to provide 50 replacement fleas in time for a performance at an open-air fair.

Training began immediately for the new recruits. "I worked solidly for two days," said Mr Birk, according to the Online Focus website, noting that the replacement team lacked a little pazazz.

Michael Faber, who organises the fair in the western town of Mechernich-Kommern, told the Associated Press news agency that he hoped the new fleas would get through the show without suffering further casualties.

"We saved the situation, otherwise there would have been no performance," he said, as quoted by Online Focus.

Forgive me if I cannot comment on all the wonderful music played here on WA2K radio. As you know, my way of thanking each contributor is to thumb up your response.

hbg, I listened to all of your lovely music. You do choose powerful songs. Alberta was fantastic regardless of her age.

edgar, Pat Boone's April Love was perfect.

This was inspired by one of hbg's lovely songs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iCHNCtoqqQ

and, the lyrics, y'all.

You belong to my heart
Now and forever
And our love had it's start
Not long ago

We were gathering stars
While a million guitars
Played our love song

When I said I love you
Every beat of my heart
Said it too

"Twas a moment like this
Do you remember
And your eyes threw a kiss
When they met mine

Now we 're still gathering stars
And a million guitars
Are still playing

Darling, you are the song
And you'll always belong
To my heart

Happy April Fool's Day, everybody. A2K has started playing tricks on us. At least, they did not do anything like tag Letty's thread as NSFW. Smile
