edgar, Love that one by The Holmes Brothers. Some info.

The Holmes Brothers are a vocal and instrumental trio originally from Christchurch, Virginia. Mixing sounds from blues, soul, gospel, country, and rhythm & blues, they have released ten studio albums, with two reaching the top 5 on the Billboard Blues Albums chart

Had no idea that "the jester" and son took their name from Wall Flower.

Barry, you are so right. That music by Franco does sound very familiar as a TV show. Give us a hint. Razz

I started to play Puppy Love a number of times, but passed. I have liked it since something like 1959.

Barry, I thought that Bing Crosby's sons had done that one. Then I discovered Guy Lombardo had. Love that version of yours better.

edgar, I remember My Heart Belongs to Daddy. Great one!

Today is Beau Bridges birthday and I couldn't find a proper salute to him, but this one is not bad.

I still recall his dad in Blown Away. A great movie, incidentally.

Beth Nielsen Chapman - Every December Sky.

Every December sky
Must lose its faith in leaves
And dream of the spring inside the trees.
How heavy the empty heart,
How light the heart that's full.
Sometimes I have to trust what I can't know
Sometimes I have to trust what I can't know

We walk into Paradise;
The angels lend us shoes.
'Cause all that we own,
We'll come to lose,
And Heaven is not so far
Outside this womb of words.
With every rose that blooms
My soul is assured
It's just like a song I've known
Yet still unheard.

And every leaf of fire lets go,
Melting in the arms of earth and snow.
And if I could hold you now,
You'd enter like a sigh.
You'd be the wind that blows
The answer to "why?"
You'd be the spring-filled trees
Of every December sky.

Barry, That Christmas Tree was beautiful as was Beth Chapman's December Sky.

When I saw Strangeglove, I had no idea that Peter Sellers was an Englishman. What a talent he was, edgar.

Tracy Chapman's Give Me One Reason was lovely. Don't know either Beth of Tracy, so thanks again for the introduction.

Going to say goodnight with two songs.

First Andrea.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for the comment, edgar, and of course we don't have to be good. Razz

Loved your goodnight song, and you sent me searching again.

Jenny Dolores Rivera Saavedra (July 2, 1969 – December 9, 2012), better known as Jenni Rivera, was a Mexican-American singer known for her work within the banda and norteña music genres. She began recording in 1992, and her recordings often have themes of social issues, infidelity, and relationships. She sang beautifully.

Once again, another taken from us too early.

Today is Emily Dickinson's birthday so here is a tribute to the Belle.

Perhaps we can lure him back with the new face on the horizon.

First, some info.

@McTag,
McTag, thanks for restoring our signal. You sent me searching concerning Evelyn.

Glennie has been profoundly deaf since the age of 12, having started to lose her hearing from the age of 8. This does not inhibit her ability to perform at the international level. She regularly plays barefoot during both live performances and studio recordings in order to feel the music better.

Glennie contends that deafness is largely misunderstood by the public. She claims to have taught herself to hear with parts of her body other than her ears. In response to criticism from the media, Glennie published "Hearing Essay" in which she discusses her condition.

Obviously she feels the vibrations. What a fantastic performance. I need to quit stereotyping.

Speaking of vibrations, here are some good ones.
