Trying to Learn, you'll have to explain more about your sister in order for me to locate a song for her.

euro, you sent me searching again.

The Cranberries are an Irish rock band formed in Limerick in 1989. The band consists of vocalist Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler. Although widely associated with alternative rock, the band's sound also incorporates indie pop, post-punk, Irish folk and pop rock elements.

Great one by them, Irish, and The Fab Four's song about that bird was great.

edgar, Thanks for your comments on yanni and the explanation of the Lonely Bull. Tradition is one of my favorites from Fiddler on the Roof.

Barry, Come on Strong by Kylie was great as was Melody's If the Stars were Mine. Didn't know either one so thanks again for the introduction.

It gets so dark so early that I find myself quite tired, and since Carrie is here, I do want to spend more time with her.

Going to say goodnight with two songs.

First, The Misty Miss Christie.

Now, a memory from a great performer and a tribute to him.

@Letty,
She was kind and my best friend. If I wasn't with her, we talked on the phone. She loved animals, especially dogs.

I like this song and it doesn't have anything to do with my sister. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UU0X1kEPhqA

I love Fats Domino and also enjoyed hbg's music.

Good morning folks. It's colder than the tip of a witches nose out there. But I must persevere. See you all later in the day.

Barry, enjoyed your Jungle Blues, by Stoneking. Don't know him, but he was different. Sleep well and hurry back, London.

hbg, I know Pet and her Subway song. Thanks for the memory and the beautiful version of Moonlight Sonata by Daniel.

dj, Always good to see you hear, as edgar noted, Phil Ochs is great as was Billy Bragg.

edgar as cold as the tip of a witch's nose? Odd, my nose is quite warm on the tip. Razz

Trying to Learn, I enjoyed Fats, too, and here is a great song for your sister.
