today is the birthday of Lucia Popp - i don't think her song needs any explanation !

A bit of news about Chas and Dave.



CHERISHED Cockney rockers CHAS AND DAVE are going their separate ways following the tragic death of bass player Dave’s wife,.

Sue Peacock, Dave’s wife of 36 years, died of lung cancer in July this year despite being a lifelong non-smoker.

Her heartbroken husband has since decided to call time on his career.

Today is this fantastic vocalist birthday. Bud loved her because she had no vibrato.

There was a radio show on the BBC about Jo Stafford,who i like muchly.Seems that she was hard to get along with.But who cares,I love her voice as well.
I AM BEING STALKED BY NEIL SEDAKA!!!!!!!!!
I heard him on the radio this morning.I heard him again at my local grocery store.AND I heard him AGAIN when I went shopping in Lewisham !!!!....

Godley & Creme were an English rock duo composed of Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. The pair began releasing albums as a duo after splitting from the pop band 10cc. In 1979 they directed their first music video for their own single "An Englishman in New York". After this, they became involved in directing videos for such artists as Ultravox, The Police, Duran Duran, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Wang Chung, as well as directing the ground-breaking promo for their own "Cry" in 1985. The duo split at the end of the 1980s and have both been involved in music videos, TV commercials, and sporadic music projects since.
