Bonnie Lynn Raitt (born November 8, 1949) is a renowned American blues singer-songwriter and slide guitar player. During the 1970s, Raitt released a series of acclaimed roots-influenced albums which incorporated elements of blues, rock, folk and country, but she is perhaps best known for her more commercially accessible recordings in the 1990s including "Nick of Time", "Something to Talk About", "Love Sneakin' Up on You", and the slow ballad "I Can't Make You Love Me". Raitt has received nine Grammy Awards in her career and is a lifelong political activist.

Hurry back, Brit. Strange, I know Did You Ever See a Dream Walking, but not Sunny Gale. Couldn't find out one thing about her.

edgar, you hurry back as well.

Really enjoyed Put Me Down by Jerry Lee and Wear My Ring by Elvis.

hbg, you hurry back, too. Patti Page's I Went to your Wedding and your Bonnie Raitt song were great.

Thanks, Trying to Learn.

It's a beautiful and clear day here, but still cool.

Today is this man's birthday, but first some info.

Bryn Terfel Jones CBE (Welsh pronunciation: [ˈbrɨn ˈtɛrvɛl]; born 9 November 1965) is a Welsh bass-baritone opera and concert singer. Terfel was initially associated with the roles of Mozart, particularly Figaro and Don Giovanni, but has subsequently shifted his attention to heavier roles, especially those by Wagner.

Here he is performing with Andrea

@eurocelticyankee,
euro, great one by Brian Deady. Land on the Moon was one that I didn't know, so once again, thanks for the introduction.

Of course you know one of my favorite Irish singers, and here he is again.

Van the Man.

@Barry The Mod,
Welcome back to you as well, Barry. Had no idea that Elvis did that one, by Jim.

This is interesting, because the first song that Elvis did was Heart Break Hotel.

Fogerty was a fine artist. I like many of his lesser recordings over his hits. Elvis does He Gots to Go pretty good also.
