@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment, edgar. When did they stop using milk bottles, I wonder? There used to be a place in Virginia that a milk man delivered those glass bottles.

Anyway, I really like that song by Kay.

Here's a funny one by Jerry Reed.

Uh-Oh, I should have checked that other part out first. Sorry Razz

When I lived in Providence, in the late seventies or early eighties, we used a milkman service.
Amos Moses is still a good song. I don't generally watch all of the visuals anyway. I usually listen while browsing.

@edgarblythe,
Love The River Song by Donovan, edgar. I just found out the milk man was in West Virginia.

Going to say goodnight a bit early as the kid from Orlando is here.

First a Russian Folk Song with lyrics in English to follow.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO1UKbyPRHs&feature=related

and the lyrics.

Once upon a time there was a tavern,
Where we used to raise a glass or two.
Remember how we laughed away the hours,
think of all the great things we would do.

Those were the days my friend,
We thought they'd never end,
We'd sing and dance for-ever and a day,
We'd live the life we choose,
We'd fight and never lose,
For we were young and sure to have our way.
Lalala lah lala, lalala lah lala

Just tonight I stood before the tavern,
Nothing seemed the way it used to be.
In the glass I saw a strange reflection,
Was that lonely woman really me.

Those were the days my friend,
We thought they'd never end,
We'd sing and dance for-ever and a day,
We'd live the life we choose,
We'd fight and never lose,
For we were young and sure to have our way.
Lalala lah lala, lalala lah lala

Now a tribute to a great composer whose birthday is today.

(George Williamson loved him)

If the world won't come to us, we'll go to the world.

Good to have London with us today.

From Letty with love to all of you.

I had to laugh as that clip was sung by none other than the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Very fitting.

@Barry The Mod,
Welcome back, Barry, and although I don't know Jenn Bostic, Kiss My Rainy Day was great. Thanks for the introduction.

Well, folks, I thought I find something cold to play, 'cause here in my place it's chilly.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for restoring our signal, edgar. Never heard The Restless Farewell by "the jester". Great one. Thanks for your comment, too.

A couple of songs for the afternoon here. This song always reminds me of Bob Smith. Hope he's alright.

yes, euro, welcome back and you sent me searching again.

Sol Seppy is a British singer-songwriter and producer. Her real name is Sophie Michalitsianos, and she contributed to two albums of American indie rock band Sparklehorse Her solo debut, The Bells of 1 2, was released by Grönland Records in 2006. She is perhaps best known in the UK for the song Enter One which was used at the end of a tragic episode of BBC Three sitcom Ideal.

Enter One by the lady was great.

edgar, I adore Music Box Dancer by Frank Mills. Thanks again for your comments.

Here's one to match our Irishman's song.
