Gotta wait in for a repair man.The door entry system to the apartment block stopped working last Tuesday.I reported this and a guy turned up on Thursday but left shortly after he posted a note in the letter box saying "Arrived to fix the door entry system but couldn't raise any of the tenants because the door entry system isn't working."

Today is this movie legend's birthday, but first some info.

McCrea was born in South Pasadena, California, the son of Thomas McCrea, who was an executive with the L.A. Gas & Electric Company. As a boy, he had a paper route, and delivered the Los Angeles Times to Cecil B. DeMille and other people in the film industry. He also had the opportunity to watch D. W. Griffith filming Intolerance, and was an extra in a serial starring Ruth Roland.
