@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks again for your comment, euro.

Christy Moore's Reel in the Flickering Light was priceless, especially those cartoon creatures.

Here's another reel.

I am giving it another try. Earlier, my connection was so bad it took an extra ten minutes for Flower Lady to play, so I gave up. So far, this by Fats and James P. is doing fine.

Evening Ms Letty,Ed and all WA2K folks....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpkALeU6AdU
Buddy Miller: Does My Ring Burn Your Finger.

When I gave you my heart
It was not what you wanted
Now the walls say your name
And the pictures are haunted
Does my ring burn your finger
Did my love weigh you down?
Was the promise too much to keep around?

I remember your words and I can't keep from cryin
I could never believe that your kisses were lyin
Was there somethin from the past
Buried in a shallow grave?
Did you think that it was too far gone to save?

Please tell me baby
Please tell me now
You say that I should just go on
Now please tell me how

Now it's just me and the night and I'm so broken hearted
I just wait in the dark here for my dearly departed
Did my ring burn your finger?
Did my love weigh you down?
Was the promise too much to keep around?

edgar, it's called restoring our signal. Love that one by Fats and J.P. Believe it or not Bobby Daring did the lyrics to that one.

I found a new baby
I found a new girl
My fashion plate baby
Has got me whirled

Her new kind of lovin'
Done made me her slave
Her sweet turtle dovin'
It's all that I crave

Sweetest miss
With a kiss full of bliss
Can't resist her somehow

Barry, Welcome back. Really enjoyed all three of your songs. Does My Ring Burn Your finger; The Ocean, and Painted Smile. Welcome to the Pleasure dome was great as well.

Time for me to say goodnight, and think that I shall do so with a memory. All four member of my family sang this one so long ago.

First some info on the lady.

Sheena Easton is a British recording artist. Easton became famous for being the focus of an episode in the British television programme The Big Time, which recorded her attempts to gain a record contract and her eventual signing with EMI Records.

Now the song.

so great having Ontario, London, Dublin with us today.

From Letty with love to you all.

Good morning. It's going to continue to be wet around here, through the weekend. We came out of drought very handily. I wish every place else could make the same brag.
See you all later today.

Hurry back, edgar. Loved The Crystals song.

Welcome back, euro. I just noticed that the chew tobacco man was from Lynchburg, Virginia. Ah, how many times I have been there. Chew Tobacco Rag was a goodie.

I also remember daddy long legs.

When I was a wee thing, I would pull one of its legs and say: Which way did the cows go? and it would point another leg in the right direction. Razz

Today is Papa Haydn's birthday.

Papa Haydn's dead and gone,
But his music lingers on.
When his heart was full of bliss,
He played jolly tunes like this:

Another tribute to the creative man.

Enjoyed both those pieces by Haydn, Miss Letty.

It should have been this poor girls 29th birthday today.

@eurocelticyankee,
It worked, euro, and thanks again for your comment. Back to Black was sad, but Amy did a good job. Never heard of her or saw her before. Just found out that she died of alcohol poisoning. Never heard of that.

Here's another birthday guy, and as edgar knows, I thought The Lone Ranger was real and had cut his mask from his dead brother's vest.

Loved it when Victor Borge played The William Tell Overture upside down. What a great performer was he.

To me, the Lone Ranger is Brace Beemer. I could never reconcile his deep beautiful voice with Clayton Moore. To big a stretch after growing up with the radio version.

euro, Chris O' Leary's Band was great. Don't know Waters Risin' but thanks again for your comment and the introduction.

Hmm, wonder if Chris O'Leary was any kin to the O'Leary lady whose cow started the Chicago fire. Razz

Also liked your Batman version, Irish.

edgar, I only did Clayton Moore because it was his birthday.

Really love tit willow from The Mikado.

Another birthday man, and then one of my favorite Batman stars.

First, Sam Neill, then some info on the guy.

Nigel John Dermot "Sam" Neill, DCNZM, OBE is a New Zealand actor who won a broad international audience in 1993 for his roles as Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park and Alisdair Stewart in The Piano

Now, my favorite Batman, Michael Keaton
