Yawl going sugar and birdy crazy!

Loved the last few tunes, Ramsey Lewis was really smooth...
Not a big Who fan but that one's alright. Jimmy & Johnny's songs were sweet. Embarrassed
Lena Horne, love her.

@Letty,
Yeah I like them Byrds Miss Letty, oh and you must pronounce Byrds with a NY accent. Wink

I was trying to think of another birdy band and the first that came to mind was "Flock of Seagulls"; then to find one of their songs you mind even remotely like, oy!.

Flock of Seagulls - - Space Age Love Song.

@eurocelticyankee,
euro, I love that group. A Flock of Seagulls was great. Yep, them boids have been around awhile.

I noticed that one of the group was a hair dresser. Do you suppose that's why that guy's hair is coiffed.

A real life painting of birds from Australia now.

Sleep well, dear euro. Loved the Eagles' Desperado and the Yardbirds' Heart Full of Soul.

edgar, Don't know Eight Miles Hight by The Byrds. Great one.

Saying goodnight a bit early as it's been a long day here in our wee studio.

First, another Eagle song by Bette.

Now, one my mom loved.

"...and I sing because I'm happy; and I sing because I'm free, and his eye is on the sparrow, so I know he watches me..."

That's our Sunday contribution.

Hope all is well in the other countries,

From Letty with love to the world.

Back in the day, Bob Dylan wrote many songs based on encounters with other people. Which is why I figured he was pinpointing somebody in the song I played by him recently. The basis of the following song, I have read, is that a member of the Thomas Paine Society offended him and he quickly wrote As I Went out one Morning by way of retaliation.

Ethyl Waters, who did Eye on the Sparrow too, wrote an autobiography with the song title as the title of the book. Great song by both artists.

Good morning from here in Florida, WA2K folks.

I'm certain that our hbg is still in bed, but I want him to know that I loved The Party's Over by both Peggy and Doris. Also enjoyed Body and Soul by Jack. Loved Willie's version of it as well, Ontario.

edgar, hurry back dear friend.

Welcome back, Barry and euro.

Barry, Eric's Hello Old Friend was one that says it all, and euro's Lou Reed's It's a Perfect Day has "great expectations" implied,

As a result of the photo that hbg showed us, I was reminded of Cozy Cole at the Metropole Cafe. I was there when we all went to New York City, but don't recall one thing about it.

Let's listen to the man do some drumming.

Today is Robert Plant's birthday, so let's have a Tall Cool One.
