Great one by the KING, edgar. Remember it best by Willie. Nope, won't play I guess you think I'm the other guy.

How about a couple of "travelin' songs"

First, dear Rick

Now, the first song I ever heard by Hank.

edgar, Love Gentleman Jim's Am I That Easy to Forget.

Had no idea that Hank William did My Bucket's Got a Hole in it.

Well, if the world won't come to us, perhaps we can go to the world.

Saying goodnight with two songs.

First, a lovely Chinese flute.

good morning msletty , ed and all listeners !
today is the birthday of that great charmer : EDDIE FISHER .
here he is with the hugo winterhalter orchestra and LADY OF SPAIN

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUpnHKmgRWw

Quote:
Edwin John "Eddie" Fisher (August 10, 1928 – September 22, 2010) was an American entertainer. He was the most successful pop singles artist of the first half of the 1950s [1], selling millions of records and hosting his own TV show.

Fisher left his first wife, actress Debbie Reynolds, to marry Reynolds's best friend, actress Elizabeth Taylor, when Taylor's husband film producer Mike Todd died. This event garnered scandalous and unwelcome publicity for Fisher. He later married Connie Stevens. Fisher is the father of actresses Carrie Fisher (with Reynolds), Joely Fisher (with Stevens), and Tricia Leigh Fisher (with Stevens).

Loved My Boy by John Lennon, edgar. Never heard that one by that unlucky guy. You hurry back.

hbg, Welcome back. Ah, dear Eddie Fisher. Lady of Spain was excellent. What a tragedy for the entire family.

Two songs for the early morning here in Florida. First, thinking of our Dutchy who is better.

Hurry back, euro. Glad that you accepted my invitation. Don't know I Want a Little Sugar in my Tea by Nina. Thanks for the introduction.

Welcome back to you as well, Morgan. Didn't realize that Bonnie Pointer did disco. Heaven Must Have Sent You was a good one.

Be sure and check out Jethro and his fabulous flute, y'all.

Another birthday man.

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks for the comments, euro. Ian Anderson didn't look too great in that photo, but he is a marvelous flautist. His concert was the last one that I went to see.

Wow. Earl Klugh's Whispers and Promises was fantastic smooth jazz. Thanks for the introduction, Irish. Will seek out more info on the man following our art for today.

Today is Schim Schimmel's birthday, and here is a fantastic portrait by the man.

Children of the Earth.

http://img2.imagesbn.com/images/103220000/103228826.jpg

Now, the info on Earl:

Earl Klugh is an American smooth jazz/crossover jazz/jazz fusion guitarist and composer. In 2006 Modern Guitar magazine wrote that Klugh is considered by many to be one of the finest acoustic guitar players today

I agree!

Bless you as well, Irish
