Hi Barry!

I had no idea that John Phillips (Mamas & Papas) wrote and co-produced this song sung by Scott McKenzie:

Goodnight and Good morning.

hbg, Blue Bayou by Linda and The Muppets was great. I remember Cowboy Copas, a tragic end to a talented man. Serenata by that Spanish guitar man was great; especially at The Alhambra. Ah, Ginger and Fred. Let's Call The Whole Thing off. Hurry back Ontario.

Reyn, I love The Turtles Happy Together, and If You Go to San Francisco is a great hippy song.

You hurry back as well, Barry. Owl City's Fireflies was truly good. Lightning bugs, fireflies, glow worms. Love 'em.

Hope that I didn't miss anyone but if I did, I well blame it on this:

awakened by the chorus of the crickets
Feeling the star studded sky
wishing I could make myself lactose
It clears the mind and the eye.

Bobby Darin sings...

Most people who know that Mancini did the music for Peter Gunne do not remember that the theme was performed by Ray Anthony.

I went through everyone's music, believe it or not, since I got home over an hour ago. After You've Gone was my favorite, but, I am biased where Bobby Darin is concerned.

Welcome back, edgar and hbg. I love the theme from Dragnet. I didn't know that Ray Anthony did the theme from that one. Thanks again for your comments on Bobby. Didn't know he did that oldie either.

hbg, I love Peter Sellers. Did NOT know he did Cigarettes and Whusky and Wild Wild Women with the muppets. That was a surprise. He was such a talent.

Anyone remember this one?

James also did The Thing from Another world.

Love the oldies

@Barry The Mod,
Never heard of Z Cars, Barry. Most of the things that I watched on TV were mostly for the plot and not the characters. I had no idea that Peter Sellers was British.

What a talent that man was.

As a kid, I listened to the voice of William Conrad as Matt Dillon. James Arness did not fit my vision of the character, but I soon accepted him, because the early episodes used many of the same scripts they did on radio.
