@edgarblythe,
Hurry back, edgar.

A couple of songs for the day.

First, it's Nancy Sinatra's birthday, and although I like old blue eye's song Nancy with the Smiling face, this is a goodie.

More synchronicity and what a surprise. I really love Two Guitars and here is Ray doing it.

Love Nancy and Frank. Ray was one of the best performers ever, when his voice was young and strong.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for restoring our signal, edgar. Thanks again for your comments.

Don't know that one by buddy, but it was a good one.

Incidentally, what time is it when one's tooth aches? Tooth Hurty. Razz

Here an unusual match. This one matches your song. Sorry for the abrupt ending.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comments and for keeping us on the air.

You sent me searching again.

Jerry Butler (born Jerry Butler Jr., December 8, 1939, Sunflower, Mississippi) is an American soul singer and songwriter. He is also noted as being the original lead singer of the R&B vocal group, The Impressions, as well as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

Great one by Betty and Jerry.

James again, because he depicts the way that I feel. I can see in my mind what I write.

Evening Ms Letty,Ed and all WA2K peeps.Kicking off at the Science Desk -

Atop a barge on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, the space shuttle Enterprise was towed on the Hudson River past the Statue of Liberty on its way to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, where it will be permanently displayed . Image Credit: NASA/Bill Ingalls....

Her mission finally completed Crying or Very sad .

I've always appreciated Mr Charles' voice but really enjoy his later years.IMHO it carried a weight of age and experience and,with all his "troubles" behind him,he seemed to enjoy his job more....

@Barry The Mod,
Welcome back, Barry, and thanks for the news about the space shuttle Enterprise. Ah, The Statue of Liberty. A wonderful symbol of ethnicity.

Don't know I've got a woman by Ray, but he is great on that one.

Met a gentleman originally from Barbados today, but lives in the USA. He inspired me to play this one by The Merrymen.

Barry, loved Bonnaroo and I know most of those people.

Love He's My Guy by Sarah and Clifford on bass (the instrument) as well.

George, I cannot tell you how much I loved Garden of Your Mind. Mr. Rogers is one that I do remember.

hbg, Les and Mary are great. Know both Alabamy Bound and Dark Town Strutters Ball.

As you know, I also recall Happy Days are Here Again even when it's done in German fashion.

a little concerned about our edgar, however.

Two songs for the morning.

First, a jazz version of Mr. Rogers Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pdw_FylLN34

Now, a tribute to Cole Porter whose birthday is today.(he also did my telling song)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csyhMKOZHlE&feature=related

Also concerned about my daughter who is ill.
