edgar, I love Old Devil Woman by Marty. Had no idea he entertained the troops with that one.

Hey, Brit. I remember that funny parody on James Bond. I had forgotten about Our Man Flint.

Wow! I love Dusty doing The Look of Love. Peter Sellers and that URSULA are a great pair. Didn't see Casino Royale and something tells me I didn't miss much.

Here's a birthday guy that I have always enjoyed.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, thanks again for your comment. That Scottish memory that was The Storm, reminded of this:

Jacobitism (Irish: SeacaibĂteachas, Scottish Gaelic: Seumasachas) was (and, to a very limited extent, remains) the political movement in Britain dedicated to the restoration of the Stuart kings to the thrones of England, Scotland, later the Kingdom of Great Britain, and the Kingdom of Ireland. The movement took its name from Jacobus, the Latinized form of James.

Jacobitism was a response to the deposing of James II and VII in 1688 when he was replaced by his daughter Mary II jointly with her husband and first cousin William III. The Stuarts lived in exile on the European mainland after that, occasionally attempting to regain the throne with the aid of France and Spain. The primary seats of Jacobitism were Scotland, particularly the Scottish Highlands, and Ireland. In England, Jacobitism was strongest in the north, and some support also existed in Wales.

Thomas Paine.
These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. (The Crisis, 1794) He got himself in trouble with the Jacobites as well.

Loved the music and the visuals, Texas.

Going to say goodnight with two songs.

First a surprise by Mario. This was a WWI song and has been done and redone by many.

Now, a poem that shows how many loved war, just like Patton.

Enjoyed having Ontario and London with us. Hope euroGeorge is alright.

From Letty with love and still remembering.

Good morning to all.

edgar, Love Don Gibson's Blue, Blue Day, and The Chordettes' Zorro was a surprise to me. Had no idea that Tyrone Power did that mark man.

Brit, loved Mr. Sandman by them as well. Your Beast wouldn't play here but that jazz bunch doing Sunny Side of the Street is one of my favorites.

Don't wiggle too much as you may develop a body part problem.

One of the reasons that I like TV's Cold Case, is because they always give us great oldies for the era.

Anyone remember this fabulous guy?

Thanks for restoring our signal and for your comment, edgar. Love Louie and Keely. Didn't know Hey Boy Hey Girl by those two, but it was great.

My white cat called Murdoch would like that one, too.

Oops, Missed Doris. Back later to comment.

@edgarblythe,
You're right, Texas, but does it really matter?

Love that one by "the eternal virgin"; When I fall in Love is one of my favs.

Doris is still with us and has retired to her home in Carmel by the Sea.

How about a look at her sea, yawl.
