hbg, Love Mariss Janson's Beethoven song, and I appreciate your comments, especially the fantastic photo of the Bismark. I did that tribute to Otto Von Bismark because I named my first German shepherd after him.

Mornin', Rock. I Think I'm Going Mad by The Rolling Stones is one that I don't know. Thanks for the introduction.

Today is Leon Russell's birthday, so how about two songs by that fabulous composer and performer.

First, A Song for you and all of our listeners and contributors.

Now, another by Leon.

Awakened early this morning, and it feels good to be up and clear.

@Barry The Mod,
Wow! Thanks for restoring our signal, Brit. Poor Marvin Gaye. Loved his Heard it Through the grape vine. If I could Build My World was a great one, and once again you sent me searching.

Thomasina Winifred Montgomery, known as Tammi Terrell (April 29, 1945 – March 16, 1970) was an American recording artist and songwriter most notable for her association with Motown Records and her duets with Marvin Gaye. As a teenager she recorded for the Scepter–Wand, Try Me and Checker record labels. She signed with Motown in April 1965 and enjoyed modest success as a solo singer. Once she was paired with Gaye in 1967, her stardom grew, but on October 14 of that year she collapsed on stage into Gaye's arms during a performance. She was soon thereafter diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor which eventually led to her death at age 24.

How very sad. Let's do something neat for this afternoon. It's Hans Christian Anderson's birthday, and I recall Danny Kaye doing his life story. Here's my favorite song from movie.

He was such a great, performer.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, edgar, and thanks again for your comment. Bird on a Wire was fantastic, and the visuals even more so.Wish I knew what each one was. What a great vocalist Judy is and Leonard inspired a lot of people.

Today is this lady's birthday, and she is good as well.

@Barry The Mod,
Barry, that was fantastic. Eleanor Rigby never sounded better. You sent me searching again, Brit.

James Carroll Booker III (December 17, 1939 - November 8, 1983) was a New Orleans rhythm and blues musician born in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Booker's unique style combined rhythm and blues with jazz standards.

Thanks for the introduction to that piano player.

Remember Scott Joplin?

Goodnight to you as well, dear Brit. Bobby Darin and Clyde McPhatter's Have Mercy Baby was delightful.

Going to say goodnight myself with delightful, talented Nat.
