Good morning, yalls. I debated with myself about going to work today, but I am up and dressed. No sense wasting the effort. The last three days have been incredibly busy and stressful. Today, all should revert to normal. Unless tomorrow's predicted bad weather decides to get rough.

So great to hear all the wonderful music.

edgar, I loved both Donovan's Catch the Wind and Marion's Shake Me I Rattle was so tender. Hurry back, if you can; if not saunter back. Razz

hbg, I always love your songs. The Roaring Twenties made a comeback later in America. Great one! Connie was excellent.

euro, Welcome back. Fantastic Rondo, and the visuals of Venice were so lovely.

Always nice to see eeYore with us. (I wish Rog could get his donkey back)

I was thinking of Andy Russell today. I recall him from Walt Disney.

Here's a medley.

Thanks, Barry the Brit and euroGeorge for restoring our signal.

Loved Bring Me Sunshine by M&W.

euro, the Highland Sessions was breathtaking . Don't know that lady vocalizing , but she is marvelous as is Emily. The visuals and instrumentation was particularly calming on both songs. Thanks for your comment on Andy.

How about Day in Day Out by The Four Freshmen. Never heard of them until I met Bud.

They inspired so many singing groups.

Welcome back, Pogo, and thanks for your comments.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, You sent me searching again.

The Band was an acclaimed and influential roots rock group. The original group consisted of Rick Danko (bass guitar, double bass, fiddle, trombone, vocals), Garth Hudson (keyboard instruments, saxophones, trumpet), Richard Manuel (piano, drums, baritone saxophone, vocals), Robbie Robertson (guitar, vocals), and Levon Helm (drums, mandolin, guitar, vocals). All five members were notable musicians in their own right.

What a great job they do with their musical history. Thanks for the introduction and the comment.

Speaking of musical history, yawl.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, edgar.

The Traveling Wilburys' Twist was hilarious. I guess most of us know that Chubby Checker got his name from Fats domino.

Here he is doing The Peppermint Twist.

@edgarblythe,
Chubby was just part of a trend at the time, edgar.

Don't know Spanish Harlem Incident, but "the jester" did a great job with that one.

It reminds me of The Drifters.

I played that Bobby D song because today is the fiftieth anniversary of the release of his first album, titled: Bob Dylan.
The Drifters with Ben E King were the first rock group to use strings in rock n roll.
