Welcome back to you and edgar, euro. Thanks to both of you for your comments. Rolling Stones' I Just Want to Make Love to You was a goodie as was edgar's Louise by the Yard Birds.

Don't know this jazz man, but he died today and I was surprised to find that he played with Clark Terry that I met a long time ago.

@eurocelticyankee,
euro, that was the most beautiful song and visuals that I have heard and seen in a while. That Place in Your Heart by Ronan Hardiman was so calming. Thanks for your comments as well.

edgar will remember yitwail, but I'm sure you don't, Irish. Heard from him. He and his wife live in Hawaii. He loves this Indian music, so we'll play it for him and his Mrs.

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks again, Irish, for your comment.

You sent me searching again.

Vanessa-Mae Vanakorn Nicholson (born 27 October 1978), known professionally as Vanessa-Mae (in Chinese: 陳美, Chén Měi), is an internationally known British violinist. Her music style is self-described as "violin techno-acoustic fusion", as several of her albums prominently feature the techno style. A former child prodigy, she became a successful crossover violinist with album sales reaching several millions, having made her the wealthiest young entertainer in the United Kingdom in 2006.

Vanessa Mae is fabulous and lovely. She does a wonderful job with Vivaldi's Storm. Thanks for the introduction, euro.

Another lovely lady's birthday is today, and Sammy Davis, Jr. does a spectacular job with his tribute.

euro, love Russian music and Kalinka was great. Try some of that Russian tea. It's good for the body, even if it's red. Razz

edgar, thanks again for your comments and Leonard music is always great to me, even when I don't understand it. Is This What You Wanted was wonderful although cryptic.

Hey, Brit, they won't let us Mericans listen to that jazz. I would have loved to hear it, London.

Going to say goodnight with two Russian songs. First Meadowland.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgFuopFPYzQ

Now, a different version of Midnight in Moscow replete with lyrics.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra-0BXcYFvU

Stillness in the grove
Not a rustling sound
Softly shines the moon clear and bright
Dear, if you could know
How I treasure so
This most beautiful Moscow Night

Lazily the brook like a silvery stream
Ripples in the light of the moon
And a song afar fades as in a dream
In this night that will end too soon
Yes a song afar fades as in a dream
In this night that will end too soon

Dearest, why so sad, why the downcast eyes
And your lovely head bent so low
Oh, I mustn’t speak, though I’d love to say
That you’ve stolen my heart away

Promise me my love, as the dawn appears
And the darkness turns into light
That you’ll cherish dear, through the passing years
This most beautiful Moscow Night

Say you’ll cherish dear through the passing years
This most beautiful Moscow Night

So great to have Dublin and London with us today and tonight, and I'll bet Ontario will be here later.

From love to all of you, wherever you are.

Ms Letty, and any listeners who still remember me, I have a small request. If you feel moved, please visit this link:

http://www.change.org/petitions/nebraska-state-legislators-and-governor-support-nebraska-lb-952-for-the-continuation-of-home-health-care?utm_medium=facebook&utm_source=share_petition&utm_term=autopublish

and sign the petition. My wife's brother is a quadriplegic who's lived in his Lincoln, NE apartment for decades, cared for by his stepson. Without legislation, he would be forced to move to a nursing home, where he would be susceptible to dangerous infections because he has a weakened immune system. There's a background article on this issue here:

Thank you.

We thank you edgar. While I'm here, might as well play a tune. Dedicate this to everyone recovering/persevering.

Toots & Maytals -- Spiritual Healing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-nvm_EVfUM

Played this long ago on WA2K, but twas just lyrics--this time we have youtube. Cool I'm not a spiritual person, per se--but I appreciate spiritual music, be it Bach, Coltrane, or Bob Marley.

Good morning, WA2K radio folks.

yitwail (turtle man) It is so nice to have you back with us. I most certainly will check out your petition, my friend. Tell J.M. that all of us are thinking of her.

Don't know Toots and Maytal, but both versions by you and our Irishman are great.

Hurry back edgar and Paul Anka's Dance on Little Girl was one that I didn't know, but I liked it. Thanks again for your comments.

Also glad that our Brit got the good jazz version of his swingers.

This is a surprise. Had no idea that this song was originally in Russian.
