@Barry The Mod,

Chavs be blowed. They have got to be ringers, music school graduates probably.

Baz, you should come up here at Whitsun if you'd like to see the famous "Quickstep" competition.

Hi Miss Letty, Ed & all the good folks at WA2K.
Enjoying the music. Nice tribute to George, Miss Letty. John Legend and the boy band were good too.
Mother Maybelle Carter was classic, Ed. So was 'What is Life' by George.

edgar, thanks again for you comment, and I love Wildwood Flower.

euroGeorge, Thanks for your comments as well, and both songs by Julie Feeny were excellent. Don't know that lovely vocalist but she is good.

My mom loved this one, so I think I'll play it here in her memory.

edgar, Turn Around by Jerry Lee was great.

euroGeorge, God Blessed Texas was good, too, and Brandy You're a Fine Girl by Looking Glass is a nice one to sleep by.

Here's one I know and don't know why I know it, yawl. Maybe it's because "the jester'' did it as well.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, that was a fantastic montage of songs about Texas. The visuals were great as well.

Going to say goodnight a wee bit early tonight as I need the rest.

First, my next door neighbor, Gus, gave me a maiden hair fern. I love them.

Old English folk song, and art song, and I've also seen the title in French, "La Fillette aux Cheveux de Lin", or something very like that.

I wonder where it started?
