Okay I did my radio stint today.
If you have an hour to spare and nothing better to do, you could give it a listen.

Better with hi-fi speakers. Terry Wogan has nothing to worry about, but enjoy.

edgar, thanks again for your comment and that Eddy song.

How delightful to have our visiting disc jockey with us today. McTag/Alan did a wonderful job of presenting each song with aplomb and a great Scottish accent. Our listeners enjoyed all of them as did I. Your Producer knew almost every one of the songs.

All in the April Evening made my eyes water a bit. Jazz, country, oldies and banjos. Your wife with the great mix of Barber Shop

Applause for you, and your performers.

@Barry The Mod,
Brit, how many can you name.

A Day in the Life of a Fool-Stan Getz
Georgia on My Mind by Ray- now the state song
Moon River-lyrics by Johnny Mercer music by Henry Mancini. Did Johnny Mathis do that one?
Almost ALL of the swing songs.
My Funny Valentine-oops, can't remember the artist
Blue Bayou
The banjos because my Mom used to play the generic type.

@Letty,
Afternoon Ms Letty (list to follow),Ed and all WA2K folks.I missed the title of track 1 by The Glasgow Orpheus Choir.
2 was Aker Bilk - Summerset.
3 was Sonnie Terry and Brownie McGee - Key To The Highway.
4 was Lonnie Donnegan - Big Grand Cooly Dam.
5 was Danny Williams - Moon River (memories of Audrey).
6 was Ray Charles - Georgia On My Mind.
7 was John Mayall's Blues Breakers - The Stumble.
8 was Aretha - Won't Be Long.
9 was Lester Flat and Earl Scrugs - Foggy Mountain Breakdown.
10 was Waylon Jennings - Luchenbach Texas (not sure of the spelling there).Did I hear Willie Nelson join in at the end?
11 was Ben Webster - My Funny Valentine.I'm sure Fiona forgave his oversight.
12 was Stan Getz - Manha De Carnival.
13 was Crossroads - Blew By You.That made me smile big!
14 was McT's band (Ashton On Mersey Show Band??) playing a great medley.
Hope McT can come back and correct any of my errors.

@Barry The Mod,

Glad you enjoyed it, Baz and Miss Letty

No real errors there, only some unorthodoxy in the spelling of some....Grand Coulee Dam...Peter Green with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers...Acker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band... Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs...Luckenbach, Texas... Sonny Terry.... Lonnie Donegan.... Ashton-on-Mersey Showband.

Oh, and the title track of 1 was "All In The April Evening"

Well done Baz, and I really appreciate your interest and kind comments.

The biggest problem was to get down to the final number of 12 or 15 tracks. I'm afraid Lady Gaga had to step aside, this time. Smile
