@edgarblythe,
Hmmm. I'll have to listen to that Buffy song again, edgar.

Great one by Dolly and Porter. Didn't know it, but it brought back another memory.

On that album that hbg showed us here, was also "the misty Miss Christy"..

Just found out the poor woman was an alcoholic. I never knew that. It's tough there in the spotlight sometimes.

Here she is.

@edgarblythe,
I had forgotten that she did Midnight Sun, too. Wow! Tender is the Night was a great one by Jackson Brown, edgar. I remember him doing Doctor My Eyes,

Remember Lilies of the Field? Well, today is the starring actor's birthday.

@edgarblythe,
He was good In the Heat of the Night, too, edgar.

Why are so many country singers called Hank? Great one by Hank Locklin.

I knew that June Christy did this one, but here is Diana Krall's version.

@Letty,
a better question than that might be who decided that guys named Henry should be called Hank?

I don't see the connection...

@Rockhead,
I agree, funny Rockman. You sent me searching again.

Piet Goddaer (born 29 April 1970 in Kortrijk) is a Belgian musician, better known by his stage name Ozark Henry. This Ones for You was great. Love his voice. Thanks for the introduction.

Well, there's Hank Williams, Hank Snow, and "...a hank of hair and a piece of bone.."

Jimmie is still with us. Wow!

Hank - as in "Ah got a hankerin' fer yew" - is like Bobby and Jimmy in rock music. Something familiar and friendly.

Rock, Thanks for Joe Walsh The Bomber. There's a bit of classical music in there that will be stuck in my head for a while.

edgar, thanks again for your comment.

Brit, ah yes, "the right stuff". Thanks for that fantastic memory, and The Beach Boys and Ray doing Sail on Sail on was fantastic.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with Nat.

What a delightful tapestry of music last evening.

edgar, Tony's O You Crazy Moon was great "Old Blue Eyes" Something's Got to Give as well. I didn't know Gentle Jim's Colliding Worlds, but it was great. Hurry back, Texas.

Brit, Fantastic combo are Julie and The Hi Lo's. I knew every one of those blues songs. Don't know Betty Carter, but she did a great job with Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most.

hbg, how nice to hear The Police's Magic for me. Also, The Magic Indian. I guess I believe in magic now. All of you hurry back to our studio today.

Guess whose birthday is today. Bet all of you know this great guitarist.
