hbg, I saw a movie about that lovely lady, but can't recall the details. I need to search out Josephine, I guess. She truly is a fantastic vocalist.

Really love Carole's Tapestry. She and James Taylor did so many good ones.

Find the River by our Brit was excellent as well.

edgar, hurry back.

Two songs for the morning here. First The Gap Band.

Now, the first one that I heard from Boy George.

Hope I didn't miss anyone. That big old full moon peeked in my window last evening.

@edgarblythe,
Love that one by Roy Hamilton. If I Loved you was great and you inspired me by finding this one.

It caused me to shed a few tears.

euroGeorge you have such a great sense of humor/humour.

You sent me searching, Irish.

The Little Willies is a band formed in 2003. It features Norah Jones on piano and vocals, Richard Julian on vocals, Jim Campilongo on guitar, Lee Alexander on bass, and Dan Rieser on drums.

Great one, Irish.

Hey, Brit, Welcome back. I used to build sand castles all the time. Remember the kind where one uses wet sand? Great bit of news that was.

Dido's Sand in My Shoes I didn't know. Good one, London. I recall some time back there was a kid on here from Cuba. He was only seventeen and we did, "...sand in my shoes; sand from Havana.." I think his name was Eire.

I think most of us know Willie and Nora doing Baby It's Cold Outside. Love it. Thanks for the memory.

I was thinking about eyes again and remembered this one from so long ago on the old A2K.

The night has a thousand eyes,
And the day but one;
Yet the light of the bright world dies
With the dying sun.

The mind has a thousand eyes,
And the heart but one:
Yet the light of a whole life dies
When love is done.

Now, a little bit of jazz for the afternoon.

Great music folks. Loved Sonny & Bennie, Willie & Norah and the maestro Christy Moore. Great ballad 'On Morcambe Bay', a tragedy.

Thank you all for keeping WA2K radio on the air. I wish that I could acknowledge each contributor, but it's not possible tonight.

Just want to say that it is wonderful having London, Dublin, and Ontario with us. That was the original idea

Going to say goodnight with two songs, and I hope everyone everywhere will hold good thoughts for your PD/Producer. They work.

This is strange. The first one is by Celtic Women.

Not one, but...
