@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks, euro, for your comment. Really Loved Michael Row the Boat Ashore by The Highwaymen.

Another birthday girl, and she is wonderful. Don't need a translation because it is lovely as is.

Now, some info on that lovely lady.

Teresa Teng (born January 29, 1953 – May 8, 1995) (traditional Chinese: 鄧麗君; simplified Chinese: 邓丽君; pinyin: Dèng Lìjūn; Wade–Giles: Teng Li-chun; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tēng Lē-kun, Japanese: テレサ・テン), was an immensely popular and influential Chinese pop singer from Taiwan. Teresa Teng's voice and songs are instantly recognized throughout East Asia and in areas with large Asian populations. It is often said, "Wherever there are Chinese people, the songs of Teresa Teng can be heard." Her songs enjoy popularity among Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Indonesian listeners as well. Unfortunately, she died quite young from complications due to asthma attacks.

Another oops, euro, missed your last three songs. Back later to acknowledge

@eurocelticyankee,
euro, I really enjoyed all three songs that you played. John Leyton, The Ronetts, but my favorite was Apache by the Shadows.

Really like the Chinese lady. The version of Apache is as good as the Jorgan Ingman version. Michael Row the Boat is a personal favorite.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again, edgar, for your comments. Don't know Jerry Butler but he sings it right. Only The Strong Survive was great

For some reason, radio people, this one was stuck in my head, so let's listen.

The King, Reconsider Baby and Jerry Butler, Only the Strong Survive are two really good ones.
The two ladies, Tian Mi Mi and Chaka Khan were great.

edgar, I just picked that song by Chaka, because it was different.

As euro noted, I loved the one by Elvis.

euro, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac Man of the World was really, really good. Didn't know that one, so thanks for the introduction and your comments, too.

This is interesting. Just found out that The Navy Hymn was unreleased on the sound track of The Titanic. Love it!
