edgar, that one by Gene and George, Sweeter Than the Flowers was so dear.

euro, also love the Stones' Paint it Black.

Went searching for Gene, yawl.

Eugene Francis Alan Pitney, known as Gene Pitney (February 17, 1941 – April 5, 2006), was an American singer-songwriter, musician and sound engineer. Through the mid-1960s, he enjoyed success as a recording artist on both sides of the Atlantic and was among the group of early 1960s American acts who continued to enjoy hits after the British Invasion. Pitney charted 16 Top-40 hits in the U.S., four in the Top 10. In the UK he had 22 Top-40 hits, and 11 singles in the Top Ten. He also wrote the early 1960s hits "Rubber Ball" by Bobby Vee, "He's a Rebel" by The Crystals, and "Hello Mary Lou" by Rick Nelson. In 2002, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

What a shock to find out that he did Rick Nelson's Hello Mary Lou.

@Letty,
Enjoyed that one from Ricky, Miss Letty.

I'll always remember Gene for '24 hours from Tulsa'. My Mam had the record, it eroded from over playing.

Imani Coppola. ---- (I thought i seen a few a2k members on this video, Ed do you play a little guitar?) Razz

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks, Euro for the comments. You sent me searching again.

Imani Francesca Coppola (born on April 6, 1978, NYC) is an American singer-songwriter and violinist probably best known for her 1997 hit "Legend of a Cowgirl" which sampled the instrumentals from "Sunshine Superman" by Donovan. In 2008 Coppola returned as one half of the pop duo Little Jackie, with a hit single "The World Should Revolve Around Me".

Hmmm, That legend was good, but I think that is edgar playing guitar. He couldn't take his eyes off the girl on the bar.

Another birthday guy. Don't know him, but his life was cut too short.

Michael Kelland John Hutchence (22 January 1960 – 22 November 1997) was an Australian musician and actor. He was the founding lead singer-songwriter of rock band INXS from 1977 to his death in 1997. Hutchence was a member of short-lived pop rock group Max Q and recorded solo material which was released posthumously.

@Letty,
Loved INXS, a shame about Michael Hutchence, what a waste. I reckon INXS would have been one of the worlds biggest bands had he not died.

@eurocelticyankee,
Wow! Great song, euro. That was supposed to be about "the king"? Love it, although I don't know Alannah Myles

Did some research on OMC.

OMC, or Otara Millionaires Club, was a music group from Auckland, New Zealand best known for their 1996 hit "How Bizarre", named one of the greatest New Zealand songs of all time by the Australasian Performing Right Association. The full name of the band is a tongue-in-cheek reference to Otara's status as one of the poorest suburbs of Auckland.

Here's Barry to match Black Velvet.

Many folks don't like him, but I think he can really sing.

euro, Rodney Dangerfield? Hilarious, Irish.

Don't know Twist is my Sobriety by that lady. Need to check her out.

Welcome back Brit. Great theme from the park by John Williams.

Love this poem, yawl.

Steam Shovel

The dinosaurs are not all dead.
I saw one raise its iron head
To watch me walking down the road
Beyond our house today.
Its jaws were dripping with a load
Of earth and grass that it had cropped.
It must have heard me where I stopped,
Snorted white steam my way,
And stretched its long neck out to see,
And chewed, and grinned quite amiably.

How about some guitars now.
