@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comments, edgar. Never heard that one by The Fab Four, but it's obvious they are saluting Motown performers who have gone on. Great!

I didn't see Once Upon a Time in America, but I did see this one.

It didn't do well at the box office because Henry Fonda was a villain.

euroGeorge, here is the theme from that movie.

My word, our Brit popped in here with the melody to Cielito Lindo in English. Night, London and thanks.

@Letty,
Love the music from "Once upon a time in the West", loved the
movie too.
The Beatles, Motown style, I just don't know if it works.

I'll play a last one by the maestro, Ennio Morricone --- Fractals with Chi Mai

To me, the Motown overdubbing smothered that wonderful Beatles song. Just played it as an oddity.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, Wow! I had no idea that Les did a version of Unchained Melody

Want to invite our listeners to hingehead's thread.

and now, more synchronicity, yawl.

The Untouchables and guess who did the theme to that one. Al Capone listens to Caruso.

On the first night of Rosh Hashanah after the evening prayer, it is the Ashkenazi and Hasidic custom to wish Leshana Tova Tikoseiv Vesichoseim (Le'Alter LeChaim Tovim U'Leshalom) which is Hebrew for "May you (immediately) be inscribed and sealed for a Good Year (and for a Good and Peaceful Life)"

When I was 14, Banana Boat song was popular. I listened to it at first, intending to laugh at it. But instead, I loved it and the artist. I could listen to his records all day long.
