Still think that he has some Hispanic blood in there somewhere.

I have spent my life denying I have Spanish in me, because there is none. Perhaps he did the same.

@edgarblythe,
Maybe so about Jim, edgar, but Americans probably have a tiny gene of other countries lying in our system.

My word, Texas. That version of tip toe through the tulips reminded me of that woman I played doing Jim O'Shea who was cast away upon some Indian isle. Funny! I liked it better than Tiny Tim, however.

More serendipity. I was searching for other tulip songs and came across this beauty.

@edgarblythe,
Bus Stop by The Hollies was fantastic, edgar, and thanks for your comment on The Tulip instrumental.

I just found out that the group was a pop rock group from England.

Saying goodnight with two songs. First, Andrea does Elvis.

Now from one of Rachmaninov's concertos, Full Moon and Empty Arms.

First a bit of info on the performer.

Carmen Cavallaro (May 6, 1913 – October 12, 1989) was an American
pianist. He established himself as one of the most accomplished and admired light music pianists of his generation.

Another one of those that I know and don't know why I know him.

Was it just us Americans today on WA2K?

Perhaps tomorrow will usher in other countries. Oops, missed wm again. Sorry Texas.

From Letty with love and hope

I think Elvis had the best version of Can't Help Falling, letty.
I know Full Moon and Empty Arms, just can't recall who I heard it from. This version is very good, however.

@Letty,
Good Day Miss Letty, Ed & all WA2K pop pickers.
Listened to most of the last offerings, lots of great music
and some oddities too.
Particularly liked Andrea singing "cant help falling in love with you"
and The Oldest Established with Frank and Dean, I'd never heard of
Robert Merrilli, fantastic voice.

Imagine - John Lennon.
