@edgarblythe,
since i'm off to the danish deli ( THE GOLDEN ROOSTER ) for one of their famous " open face sandwiches "

( this is a rather poor imitation )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bRgKStqGnU

- here is some appropriate music to go with it ( my mouth is watering in anticipation ) .

and don't say the danes are stodgy - these aren't .

----------------------------------------------------------------

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6BFyoOXd8A

and while munching the open faced , we'll have maurice andre play the
" prince of denmark march " for us .

is that a triple treat or triple threat ?

( must go now - or i'll die of starvation Wink )

@hamburgboy,
maurice andre demanded his own post - o.k. here you go - blow your horn !

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxuwlOvOXMs

--------------------------------------------------------------

but i get the last word , andre !

i'll make you share the post with the danish army !

Wow! Love the Hispanic music, and mmarciano's Puerto Rico song by Eddie was excellent. Fil, La Molinero another great one. Our manager, Roberto Gentle is originally from Sal Paulo Brazil.

hbg, I never hear that march that I don't think of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Probably one of his worse plays, buddy.

Also think of Danny Kaye when I hear the song Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen. Love that one too.

Anyone remember this one?

Sorry if I didn't acknowledge all the music, but you know that I love it all.

@Letty,
I remember that one, Miss L.

Ohhhhhhh..... we're having an international flair on the radio today.

I wanted to add some Jamaican into the mix.

"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou:")

Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry (don't worry) 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou:"

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!
Every little thing gonna be all right. Don't worry!"
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing" - I won't worry!
"'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right" - I won't worry!
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, oh no!
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!

Ok, these guys are actually from Austin, TX but they're my favorite "international" band. One of the best live shows I ever saw.

Good afternoon. (I want some of hamburger's sandwich. Am I too late?) It's an adventure to come in here and see what has been offered - these days in particular.

@edgarblythe,
Love Harry's Streets I Have Walked, edgar. I found out that was ZuLu folk music.

Also liked the flower lady's Maria Delcastillo. Hmmm. I would play I just met a girl named Maria, but I don't want to meet that tropical storm.

Love this one by TOTO, yawl.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks, Texas, for keeping our radio going. My word, Johnny did You Light Up My Life? Great! I had only heard that one by Debbie Boone.

Maybe we need a little cold wind. Here's Jethro to give us one.

@edgarblythe,
hi , edgar :

i actually started off with huge bowl of mushroom soup - NOT cream of mushroom !

while this is a receipe for turtle soup , it's easy to substitute mushrooms .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1KSaUEu_T4&feature=related

it was followed by a monster meatball sandwich with red cabbage and pineapple coleslaw .

   http://lasvegasfoodadventures.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/swedish-meatballs.jpg

the preparation is slightly different from the one shown ... but very delicious ( i believe this is the swedish version ) .
try it , you'll like it !

More Autumn Leaves.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOsVVeojMZs&feature=related

English Lyrics by Johnny Mercer and Music by Joseph Kosma

The falling leaves drift by my window
The falling leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sunburned hands I used to hold

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

(Instrumental for 1 minute)

Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

I miss you most of all, my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall

So great to see Portugal, Puerto Rica, Canada, with us today on WA2K.

From Letty with love to the world
