euroGeorge, Love that waltz. The Blue Danube is one of my favorites.

Miss Iz, Welcome back. Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head by B.J. is one of my favorites. Ah, Butch and Sundance. No raindrops as yet here.

When my Dave was a wee thing, he was truly afraid of lions. Why, I don't know, but I would sing this one to him to calm his fears.

The Vienna Boy's choir.

@Letty,
Loved Raindrops from that great movie "Butch Cassidy and the sundance kid"
Great version of "The lion sleeps tonight", the boys nailed it.

I'm going to try Oasis again.

Here's a track from a movie I watched recently "London Boulevard"
starring Colin Farrell, Keira Knightley and Ray Winstone, it was panned
by the critics but I enjoyed it, kicking soundtrack with songs from the
Stones, Dylan, Yardbirds & others. Here are the Yardbirds.

@eurocelticyankee,
euroGeorge. Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis was fantastic. It's also a good philosophy.

London Boulevard starring Colin Ferrell would be a great film to see. The Yardbirds were delightful, Irish, and thanks again for your comments.

Interesting as I see that Colin is going to do a remake of Total Recall. Reminds me of Ticomaya. Razz

@Letty,
That was funny Miss Letty, yes Colin seems to have got
his career back on track, for a while there it was touch
and go. He's also made a remake of the 1985 classic comedy
horror "Fright Night", although I believe this is a darker version.
As a matter of fact I'm thinking of watching it now.
Catch you later.

Oh, my goodness. euro is off to watch Fright Night? Irish, it's not spook night, I hope.

Welcome back, Brit. Good to see that rainbow round your shoulder. Love Ramsey Lewis and Billy Taylor. Sorry that Rupert is such a magnet type mogul.

Don't know Jane Morgan. I think I get her confused with another Jane, but That's a NO NO was funny.

I know I heard this in the background of Ramsey's great music.

Hope I don't have to wade in too much water, R.L.

Good afternoon, folks. I went down the line, opening all the videos. I didn't have time to listen to every single one all the way through, but I think each one is very good. I just had the longest nap I have had in quite some time. I will post a song shortly. Hope you all are well today.

Well, they are looking to hire us some help at work. The latest to apply, a girl, by the way, seems most likely to get it. She will be expected to carry refrigerators up the stairs, repair A/Cs, replace siding off a ladder, just like the rest of us. She seems eager.

@edgarblythe,
Glad you got something to do that's better than man stuff, edgar. I know Music to Watch Girls by, Texas, but I had to check Bob Crewe. He wrote a lot of goodies. Love that one by him.

I love this one as well, but I had no idea that Frankie Valli did it.

I know it best by The Lettermen. Frankie's intonation is a bit bad.

@Letty,
Sad to say, letty, I never did like that song, not even when Art Garfunkle does it.

I like standing in my wee studio watching Queen do Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Texas. Razz

Don't forget to check out Wade in the Water by Ramsey.

See if you like this version by The Lettermen. They do a couple of songs that I really like.

@edgarblythe,
I understand, edgar. Often we don't know why we don't like certain songs.

Loved that Figaro from the Barber of Seville. Wonder who that was doing the aria.

Thanks to euroGeorge, I have come to love this lady.

Don't hush sweet Charlotte.

Singer songwriter Adam Cohen will head to UK shores this November for a series of intimate shows. With what will be his first ever UK tour, the son of legendary poet-balladeer Leonard Cohen, Adam Cohen will showcase his unique and distinctive voice that has made him a success in his own right.
