euroGeorge, you sent me searching.

The Green Children are a European musical duo, who write and produce atmospheric electro-pop music.

Milla Sunde (born 17 December 1983) and Marlow Bevan (born 4 October 1984) also established The Green Children Foundation, to support microcredit, education and healthcare. In June 2006, The Green Children shot a music video in Bangladesh to celebrate the work of Professor Muhammad Yunus, the father of microcredit and founder of Grameen Bank.
Despite the generic typecast, they strive for natural and elemental influences in its music because it is their intent to take listeners on a magical journey.

You also have a great sense of humor, buddy. Didn't quite understand the visuals, but their song was great. Thanks for the introduction and your comments, too. Just as our edgar, we appreciate your recognition of what we play on WA2K

Ah, jcboy. Love that one by Gladys Knight and The Pips.

Love Overboard was a good one.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with Andrea again.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCPRSOZwDt4

and the English lyrics.

In my fantasy I see a just world,
Where everyone lives in peace and honesty.
I dream of souls that are always free
Like the clouds that float
Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.

In my fantasy I see a bright world
Where each night there is less darkness.
I dream of spirits that are always free,
Like the clouds that float

In my fantasy exists a warm wind,
That blows into the city, like a friend.
I dream of souls that are always free,
Like the clouds that float
Full of humanity in the depths of the soul.

From Letty with love and devotion.

Good to see Dublin with us today, and everyone hold good thoughts for our Brit.

Do love Gladys Knight though.

From the pen of the masters:

Take out the papers and the trash
Or you don't get no spendin' cash
If you don't scrub that kitchen floor
You ain't gonna rock and roll no more
Yakety yak (don't talk back)

Just finish cleanin' up your room
Let's see that dust fly with that broom
Get all that garbage out of sight
Or you don't go out Friday night

You just put on your coat and hat
And walk yourself to the laundromat
And when you finish doin' that
Bring in the dog and put out the cat

Don't you give me no dirty looks
Your father's hip, he knows what cooks
Just tell your hoodlum friends outside
You ain't got time to take a ride

Sheer poetry, brilliant. They don't write 'em like that any more.

Another sleepless night from here in Florida. Still watching that female windbag, Irene.

Hey, Irish. Hurry back. Loved that theme from Dances with Wolves.

edgar, you hurry back as well. Phil Ochs' Pleasures of the Harbor was great.

McTag. You're right about the Yakety folks. That is poetry.

Miss Izz. Welcome back to you as well. You sent me searching again.

The Boo Radleys were an English alternative rock band of the 1990s who were associated with the shoegazing and Britpop movements. They were formed in Wallasey, Merseyside, England in 1988, with singer/guitarist Sice Rowbottom, guitarist/songwriter Martin Carr, bassist Timothy Brown and drummer Steve Hewitt. Their name is taken from the character Boo Radley in Harper Lee's 1960 novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. Shortly after the release of their first album, Hewitt was replaced by Rob Cieka. The band split up in 1999

Thanks for the introduction, hun. We all realize that Boo Radley was the "mocking bird".

Two songs for the early morning. First the song of which our "taggers" speaks.

My favorite by Kevin Costner.

The Postman.

@Letty,

Yakkity Yak, the original Coasters version.

And some stills from the film American Graffiti, which I enjoyed very much. The director's hymn of praise, I think. I've got that double-disc LP album in my collection.

Hey, euroGeorge. Fantastic song by Peter Gabriel. At first, I thought it was going to be Blow Gabriel, Blow. It seems that Irene may have decided to by pass us. Still concerned about her path for other states, however.

McTag. Thanks for the original version of Yakety and the memory of American Graffiti Days. Love it!

How about Boots Randolph, then.

Hmmm. Did I hear the theme from The Greatest Show on Earth?

I remember Yackety Sax.
Well, I wanted to play my favorite Coasters record, but the good version is not to be found on youtube. So, here are the Coasters doing one of their early songs, when they were The Robins.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, thanks for your comments, and those "robins" are rocking. Loved Smokey Joe's Cafe. Don't remember them, however, at that pre stage Coaster phase.

How about another Gabriel, yawl. It's hard to beat Cole Porter.

Some info on Patty.

Patti Ann LuPone (born April 21, 1949) is an American singer and actress, known for her Tony Award-winning performances as Eva Perón in the 1979 stage musical Evita and as Rose in the 2008 Broadway revival of Gypsy, and for her Olivier Award-winning performance as Fantine in the original London cast of Les Misérables as well as her similarly nominated portrayal of Norma Desmond in the first production of Sunset Boulevard.

Although our Gus is gone; our Seed is here to stay (I hope)

Oops, missed our Irishman. Will check out Enya shortly.

@eurocelticyankee,
Irish, I just listened to Enya do that fabulous tribute to trees and the earth. Let's see if I can remember the quotes. Joyce Kilmer, of course. Then there are Thoreau, Emerson, Martin Luther King, jr. and Maya. The visuals were fantastic.

You listen to Gabriel's Horn. That might be a warning.

Here's another tree man, Paul Robeson.

My word, euroGeorge, Charlotte Church is Welsh? Love that song and she is lovely as well. Don't know her as edgar noted, but thanks for the introduction and the comments.

Also appreciate our edgar's observations.

edgar, That is one of the best songs that I have ever heard Buffy sing. Take My Hand for Awhile is great.
