That's another song I have on CD, letty. Blondie was exceptional on some of those songs.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, I love As Dreams Go By by Harry Chapin. I remember him for The Cat's in the Cradle. So sad that he died so young. Thanks for your comments, buddy and for keeping us on the air.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First, one that my daughter played for Bud on Father's Day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2AgdxJYP74

Now, the worst song that I have ever heard by Andy. The meter is all screwed up.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UdM4JBZd38

Hope our Brit and our Irishman will be back with us tomorrow.

Goodnight, all.

From Letty with love

Buble's song is one of the great songs. Love it by a number of artists.
In the Summertime is a Roger Miller composition. Roger was always lots of fun.

Good morning, WA2K folks. hbg, welcome back. Spike Jones has always been funny. Funny, edgar. You like Spike better than Ike? Love it.

I've been colder than I am this morning. Love that one by Ben. Big Sweet John.

Two songs for the early morning here.

It's Chris Isaak's birthday. What a great combination.

Glen would have been more with it had he had a cup of java, methinks.

A cup of coffee a day could keep Alzheimer's disease at bay, research suggests.

Scientists have shown a daily dose of caffeine helps protect the brain from the harmful effects of cholesterol, which is linked to the disease.

The most common cause of dementia, Alzheimer's affects 500,000 Britons - and 500 new cases are diagnosed each day.

Now Glen and Southern Nights.

Sway is a good song, letty. As is Glenn's Southern Nights -
I knew a woman got bit by a brown recluse. It was a terrible ordeal for her.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comments, edgar, and Eddie's Summertime Blues was a good one. Hey, Texas. This is the seventh day and it's supposed to be a day of rest.

Two songs for the afternoon, yawl. First, here's one we'll dedicate to Miss Iz.

So Ed you have a screw loose Laughing , I always suspected as much. Wink

I'm sure glad we have no poisonous spiders over here and no snakes
whatsoever, good ol' St Patrick Laughing Laughing .

Anyhow folks cant stay long, had a hard day and I'm exhausted.
Oh, Neil Diamond And Mary Byrne were great. Never ceases to
amaze me seeing grown women behaving like hysterical
adolescent girls. Razz Neil had them swooning.
Here's some footage from the concert...

I'll try and get on later when I've rested.

Loved Neil's show songs, Irish. Carribean Blue by Enya was great. Hurry back, but hope the snakes are not all gone. More later about how snake venom can be a cure for certain problems.

Great one by Trini, edgar, and Judy's songs are always delightful. Bird on a Wire and Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying both are pretty and meaningful.

This fellow was playing around my wee studio today.

Here are a couple of songs for the late afternoon here.

First Neil.

Thanks again for your comments, edgar. Never heard Holly Holy Eyes by Neil. Lovely and thanks for the introduction.

Well, Earth, Wind, and Fire is appropriate, methinks.

@edgarblythe,
Love Take My Hand for Awhile by Buffy, edgar. Her voice was truly good on that one. Thanks again for your comments.

Today is Peter Lorre's birthday, and that sent me searching for Casablanca.

First, Play it Sam.

Nice to have Canada and Ireland with us today. Hope our cockney Brit is all right.
