Good morning, WA2K.

What a wonderful weekend I had. All kinds of ethnicity and great discussions among the four of us. Neco, although I don't have a pleated skirt any longer, I still have dancing shoes. I don't know that Dickey Doo and the Don'ts, but I love the alliteration. Later, I will play one that was inspired by your swan.

Forgive me if I don't cite each responder by name, yawl. I just want to say that I listened to all the music.

Hey, Irish. Loved both songs by Johnny and Kris, plus Willy and Chris. Thanks for the memory.

edgar, you did a plethora of beautiful music. I guess my favorites were by Don Gibson and The Band.

Ah, Brit. Loved Chet's version of Tenderly. Thanks, London.

Hey, Paris. Don't know your vocalist from Israel, but she is "something different." Appreciate the introduction.

Two songs for the morning.

First The Swan by Camille. (won't say his last name, because it makes me smile at how I first pronounced it).

Now, a tribute to Marlon Brando whose birthday is today.

Thanks again to all of our contributors for making WA2K radio a sunny Sunday.

Good morning. Enjoyed Camille and I thought Elton's song put a nice touch on Marlon Brando tribute.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, It was once observed that if Homer and Jethro didn't do a parody on a song, it was truly not successful. Love that one on Over the Rainbow. It was also a surprise to know that Leon Russell did that song.

Love Fats doing Yes, It's Me and I'm in Love Again, and thanks for your comments.

I think I may have discovered why I know The Dickey Bird song. Have an s.o.s out to my older sister to discover if she knew Freddy Martin. A dickey bird is a colloquialism for baby birds of many varities and was originally a children's song.

Did I mention that Over the Rainbow Ho was also done in that tribute to Leon Russell. If so, disregard Razz

Also discovered a young black heron in my pond. A chorus of frogs , both baby and mature, were chanting to an invasion as he/she sought food.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comment, edgar, and Between The Road Signs is not one I recall from Melanie. Is this the same gal?

@edgarblythe,
Had no idea that Melanie was a hippie, edgar. Your song just informed us. Great one, and I just discovered that she sang "Look What They've Done to My Song, Ma."

Today is Tony Orlando's birthday, and here are some great songs by him and Dawn

Found out that he was born in New York with a Greek mother and a Puerto Rican father. Amazing.
