I am a fan of the Prez, letty.
I have always been amazed at how the Americans and Vietnamese have coped, following the war. Never expected that kind of resilience.

Ah, edgar, you know how I love Marty. Don't know Little Green Valley, but it was really good. I agree with you on your comment, Texas

@edgarblythe,
I love Trini doing Ray Charles, edgar. Didn't realize that he was born in Texas, however.

Well, I know our Brit did George and Santana, but since it's his birthday how another one by the man.

@eurocelticyankee,
Well, euroGeorge, I'll wait for edgar to speak for himself, but what a delightful song. Had no idea that Paul wrote that one for Tom. In some ways, I'm still a lady.

In response, here is Celtic lady with an answer.

@Letty,
In someways,??. Every way I'm sure. Smile
Love Celtic Woman, nice song.
Hope Ed doesn't think I'm calling him a desperado. Shocked

Another one for the ladies.

@eurocelticyankee,
This Masquerade is a neat song, letty. So is the Paul Anka song and the Carpenters' Desperado is a gem.

@eurocelticyankee,
The violin in the Celtic lady's song stold my heart, letty. Skellern is pretty good too. He's a new one for me.

@edgarblythe,
oops, the Dylan stuff is really curtailed.
Whoever he has watching his copyright are certainly doing
their job.
It was "knocking on heavens door".

Heres a bit of Supertramp instead.

Ah, it's so nice to have our Irish friend back with us.

edgar, loved your Dark Eyes by Judy and Bob, and once again thanks for your comments.

Little Bit of Your love was great, too, euroGeorge. Just as edgar observed didn't know that song, but the visuals were something else. Wow!

Time for me to say goodnight, and this "lady" thinks that she will do so with a different version of a Mac Davis song. This was inspired by edgar's forum on "believing".

Yes, we all believe in something.

From Letty with love to everyone.

I have most of Dylan's albums anyway. Supertramp is a good substitute. Here are the Animals

Here's an odd and to me wonderful or at least oddly odd pair, Zucchero (a popular italian singer from whom I've a few cd's) and Pavarotti -

Va Pensiero

@ossobuco,
and now, Francesco de Gregori, the songwriter (well, I've a cd of his too) and the singer, Zucchero - re Diamante.

Fbaezer and some other folks like Raphillon know much more on all this - pro or con - than I do - I just enjoy it.

(I've no idea re the soopy sales of the video..)
