Thanks to all of you for the comments on what we play here.

edgar, "...ah, the day the music died..." Don't know It doesn't Matter Anymore" but it has a strange prophecy to it..." (love your Egypt comment)

Wandel, Welcome back. La Isla Bonita by Madonna was awesome. Yep, Walk Like an Egyptian was good, right?

Hey, euroGeorge. Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club? That a great name, Irish. Thanks for the introduction.

Hope I didn't miss anyone. You all play such great songs on WA2K radio.

Today is a famous Russian's birthday. Here's a tribute to him, y'all.

The Buddy Holly song was on the charts when he died. Written by Paul Anka.
I read a few books of Maxim Gorky. Some of Chekhov's short stories.

Nice video version of "Egyptian" (Thank you too Letty)
Here's a Canadian Jazz Pianist/ Singer who IMO performs "Case of You" even better than its composer--Another incredibly multi-talented Canadian: Ms Roberta Joan Anderson Mitchell..

Ah, edgar. Thanks for the info about Paul Anka. Really enjoyed that one by Clyde McPhatter.

euroGeorge, you sent me a searching again.

Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club is an alternative band from Dublin, Ireland. They formed in 2002 and played their first gig October 2002 in Tower Records on Wicklow Street, Dublin but the real first debut gig was at Whelan's on 18 October 2002.

Wow! What a great performance by that lovely lady and the group.

tcb, Diana Krall is one of my favorite vocalists. A Case of You is one that I haven't heard.

Hey, everyone. Walk right in and Sit Right Down. Razz

Didn't know that Dr. Hook did this one.

@Letty,
My favorite Dr. Hook song is Sylvia's Mother. The song was written by the legendary Shel Silverstein who also wrote A Boy Named Sue.

@wandeljw,
Great one by Dr. Hook, wandel. Sylvia's Mother Said is one that I like, too. Just found the POEM by Shel Silverstein about A Boy Named Sue Shocked

How about a good one by James Taylor. Since this one is called Line 'em Up, perhaps we should have celebrated Capone's birthday(which is today) with a Line Up. Razz

Enjoyed the Bangles & Diana Krall,
Diana has a sweet voice. Have to say I wouldn't
be to gone on Dr Hook.
Liked James Taylor.
When you say a line up Miss Letty, do you mean a
Valentines day line up. Shocked

A track of one of the best albums ever released, Rumours.

Dreams.

Thanks for the comments, edgar and euroGeorge. Ah, yes. That kind of Valentine. Very Happy

Loved Dreams by Fleetwood Mac, buddy.

We never know about history, but I am given to understand that Al Capone loved Enrico Caruso.

Three versions by that marvelous Italian star, y'all.

Missed Take my Hand for Awhile, Texas. Back later to comment.
