I'll say good night folks, out on the road again at 5.30 tomorrow morning, so I better get some beauty sleep, ha. Ye all have a good night now, ye hear.

@eurocelticyankee,
Goodnight, Irish. Who's Gonna Drive You Home Tonight was rather sad. The Cars are a group that I've never heard. They are good. Nope, won't do On the Road Again. Razz

Ah, today is the day that Fats Waller died. What a performer, y'all.

My goodness, just as Fats got the joint jumpin' everyone leaves.

My good night song, originally done by Tears for Fears, is now done by this sharp oriental guy.

Morning Ms Letty,Ed,e-c-y(George) and all WA2K folks.I love this lady's work.Here's one of hers I heard on the radio at work last night....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjPEVLEC0oo
Beth Nielson Chapman - Trying To Love You.

I blew out all my plans
The world fell in my hands
The day that I began
Trying to love you

The secrets I have kept
The nights I haven't slept
I've laughed until I've wept
Trying to love you

Trying to love you...No one's come as close or gone so far
Trying to love you...I've lost and found myself in who you are
Trying to love you...So easy and so hard, trying to love you

I've watched myself get stuck
Squandered all my luck
I've almost given up
Trying to love you

Trying to love you...It broke my heart, it's chipped away my pride
Trying to love you...Every time I'd see that fault line slide
Trying to love you...I've crossed the great divide trying to love you

Trying to love you...I've screamed your name, I've slammed a thousand doors
Trying to love you...I've worn a million miles across the floor
Trying to love you...Still I could not ignore trying to love you

It's pulled the best from me
For all the world to see
And I will always be
Trying to love you

Almost noon here. Man, I thought everyone liked Fats Waller.

Welcome back, Brit.

Trying to Love You was beautiful. Don't know Cam and Jack, but thanks for the introduction. Stardelay -Earthday was awesome. Don't know if I'd want to be at the Space Station or not. With my sense of direction, I'd probably get lost in space. Razz

X Files theme brings back a memory.

Hurry back, Texas with some good news. We all need it, I think.

Remembering jazz, y'all.

Good afternoon. I am not going back and listening to all the music I missed. It would take up my time for writing. I have just watched letty's tribute to Jazz people. There's a bunch of them. My computer is working very well now.

@edgarblythe,
Not necessary, edgar. I think the jazz video was sufficient.

Welcome back, incidentally. Love that montage of Gene and his crew. Great, Texas. The only ones that I knew were Jimmy Wakely and, of course, "Back in the Saddle", Autry. Thanks.

You are truly edgareinstein. Razz

Now something is amiss with Firefox.

Hope this works, y'all.

Einstein was a fictional creation of Thornton Wilder. As with Sherlock Holmes, the public has come to regard him as an actual person.

@edgarblythe,
Actually, Thornton Wilder didn't exist. Our Town just made him up. Razz

Loved that one by Sir Paul. He was creative, too. Different melodies all melted together.

It's Beethoven's birthday, so how about a tribute to the musical genius.

@Letty,
Combining Chuck Berry's song with Beethoven works very well.
Well, having no clever segue in mind, here is Jewel.

@edgarblythe,
I don't care for Jewel's voice, edgar. Never heard Wild Horses. I see a lot of folks have done that.

Here's another song that many vocalists have done.

(incidentally, The Queen of Soul seems to be doing better)

@edgarblythe,
Wasn't she wonderful? No wonder the other Beatles were jealous. Laughing

Thanks for the late evening smile, Mr. Ed.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with England Dan and the other guy.

As always, in spite of everything,
