@edgarblythe,
edgar, I had no idea Billy Williams sang Nola. My oldest sister played that on piano.

I was surprised at finding that King Kong group as well, Texas.

Thinking of my mom tonight. So here is one by Nelson Eddy.

@hingehead,
hinge, welcome back. Nice to see an Aussie here. Killing in the Name by FourPlay is one that I don't know, but they do strange things with those strings. Was that a cello he was pickin' instead of bowing?

Thanks, buddy.

edgar's soothing song by Spike Jones really gave me a smile. Loved it, Texas.

Saying goodnight with two songs. One a funny to match edgar's Jones boy, and the other a fantastic hymn that is Irish and beautiful.

First Ahab the Arab.

Now, one that I awakened singing on night.

Ahab was a great comic record, letty.
Be Thou is one I did not know.
I am saying good night with an oldie from Marty Robbins.

@edgarblythe,
I like that one by Marty, edgar. I had forgotten it. Thanks, Texas.

Up early this morning, and I found that this fellow is going to do Gulliver's Travels in 3D. (he is the man who did Jesus Christ Superstar)

Strangely, he'll be doing this bit from Kiss.

Also recalling an old song that is beautiful.

@Francis,
What has happened to the music industry? It seems to be going the same way as TV programming, Francis.

Thinking of Chopin this early morning in Florida.

What a fantastic virtuoso and performer.

@Letty,
I have hear In the Gloaming elsewhere. A mighty fine song it is. The song of Kiss' I don't know. Actually, I don't really know their music. Not being a snob, just never got into it.
Chopin music is very good, of course.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, That John Gary is absolutely wonderful. The visuals were great as well. Welcome back, Texas, and thanks for your comments.

I'll have to send my older sister Johnny Ray's Walking in the Rain. She adored him.

I guess by now everyone knows about Leslie Nielson's death. He was great and we'll miss him.

Love that on by Della Reese, edgar. She is great.

You may know this guy. I don't but I love this song. It's an answer to Della.

Hoagy Carmichael

I don't know anything about JJ Cale, but he makes good recordings.

@hingehead,
HA!

I heard them live at an outdoor concert once. I lasted three "songs" and then told my girls that I'd meet them outside of the park when the show ended.

@edgarblythe,
While our squirrel lady says, "HA" to hinge. I want you to know that I love Hoagy Carmichael, edgar. Old Buttermilk Sky is a great one.

Two things that I've discovered. First that Frankie Laine wrote We'll Be Together Again, and that Hoagy wrote this one.

The hinge man never did tell us if that guy was "picking" a cello. Razz

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar. I love Little Richard. My fav is still Long Tall Sally, however. True Fine Mama was great.

Another one written by Hoagy Carmichael and sung by Matt.
