I think T Texas Tyler was the first artist I heard sing T For Texas. I believe Jimmy Rodgers had it before anybody. Never heard Waylon's version before now.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, The Jester and from a Buick Six. Never heard that one, edgar. Didn't know that T Texas Tyler did T for Texas, but I did realize that others had done so.

Isn't Bob Dylan Thomas' namesake?

Love this one by Richard and entourage, buddy.

I don't know why I have been unaware of that movie. Thomas' name being tied to it, along with Richard Burton ought to have drawn me in. Bob Dylan is a very catchy name, compared with Zimmerman.

@edgarblythe,
Goodnight, dear edgar. Funny one about FDR. It seems as though he did not have polio, however.

Guillian-Barre Syndrome Is what President FDR had

Saying goodnight myself with two songs.

First, a fantastic Calgary children's choir.

Now, a montage of love.

Hurry back, edgar. Have something interesting to tell you.

Francis, Don't know that lovely lady, but it's Another "lovely" day here as well. Thanks for the introduction.

Today is Richard Burton's birthday. More synchronicity, because we watched him in Under Milkwood by Dylan Thomas. I liked him in Prince of Players about Edwin Booth. Another book that I read as a kid.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, Thanks again for the comments. I love all that music that I played last evening, especially The Calgary Children's Choir.

I'll have to listen again to The Richard Burton tribute. I was too busy watching. Razz

Jerry Lewis' Big Blon Baby was great.

Guess who is playing here in Charlottesville, Virginia. My daughter is going to see him tonight.

I guess he's a rollin' stone again.

@Letty,
I have been to some great Dylan shows. Much as I love the man, however, I had to walk out on him the last time. It was too painful to listen.

@Letty,
I knew that Dylan was appearing in Cville. I didn't realize it was tonight. I understand from others (as Edgar noted) that his performances these days can be painful to witness compared to the earlier Dylan.

@edgarblythe,
Say The Word by The Beatles is a new one to me, edgar. Thanks, buddy.

I'll let you know how my daughter felt about "the jester's" concert. Maybe he's gotten better.

How about a green dolphin and some blue dolphins for the evening. (it's already dark here)

First, the green one. (great jazz)

Now, The blue ones.

Have an SOS out to the squirrel lady to help us figure out the classical piece to the Richard Burton tribute.

Oops, missed John of Virginia. Welcome back, buddy.

I have a wonderful record by Tony Bennett of Green Dolphin Street.
There is nothing more picturesque than a bunch of dolphins, for sure.

@edgarblythe,
Fabulous song, by Donovan, edgar. I searched out the lyrics, buddy. I think Donna's most popular song was I'm The Happiest Girl in the Whole USA.

Standing by the Everyman, digging the rigging on my sail
Rain fell to sounds of harpsichords, to the spell of fairy tale.
The heath was hung in magic mists, enchanted dripping glades,
I'll taste a taste until my mind drifts from this scene and fades
In the night time.
Crystals sparkle in the grass, I polish them with thought
On my lash there in my eye a star of light is caught.
Fortunes told in grains of sand, here I am is all I know
Candy stuck in children's hair, everywhere I go
In the night time,
In the night time.
Gypsy is the clown of love, I paint his face a smile
Anyone we ever make we always make in style. Yeah!
Yeah, strange young girls with radar screenings, yeah,

"crystals sparkle in the grass, I polish them with thought" beautiful line.

My goodness, y'all, I saw Ticomaya on TV tonight. He was doing a tango.

Love it, so I think I'll dance off to bed with this one.

From Letty with love and a smile
