@edgarblythe,
Wow! I never heard that one by Gary and The Union Gap. Every Hour was fantastic, edgar. Thanks for the comment and the introduction.

Maybe this GAP and a train will work. Sorry that the Monkees didn't.

Incidentally, the jazz man Vance Adair did All the Sad Young Men, Texas.

Izzie and George are on a roll.

Loved Bobby's Splish Splash, and James Taylor's Shower The People was a pefect match. The Ventures' Wipe Out was great, but I tried to watch the new version of Hawaii 50, and it was boring. The only thing that I enjoyed was The Ventures' theme song.

Elvis' A Little Less Conversation was also good.

Kevin Spacey is one of the most versatile actors that I have ever seen. Here he is in the Life of Bobby Darin. He sang and played the piano himself.

Remember the movie Play Misty for Me?

Time for me to say good night, and I think that I shall do so with Johnny doing one that I have played before. Then a surprise by Art Garfunkel.

No Particular Place To Go....me neither Ed,still trying to get back onto "day time".The fireworks on Blackheath were GREAT but my pics were rubbish. Apart from the ones outside the chip shop but I'll save those for later.
Stumbled across this....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og2BduIrNkQ
Kori Eryn - Twice.

Pinch me once
Pinch me twice
The first time it will hurt a little but i'll know if this was real
The second is a reason just to hurt me...

So kiss me once
But don't you kiss me twice
Unless you're gonna let it linger and hold me when it's done
I won't give you anything unless i know you'll keep it...

I need a reason not to say no way
I need a reason, i need a reason to stay
I need a reason not to say so long
I need a reason to stay

Twice is the honest kind
Where you're once forgotten or you're twice removed
And me - I'm of the gentle kind
I keep an open mind that maybe they all meant well
But i'm not free
And they keep hurting me

You hurt me once
But don't you hurt me twice
'Cause I bruise easy at your touch of which i cannot get enough
It's as if i have a fondness for desertion...

I need a reason not to say no way
I need a reason, i need a reason to stay
I need a reason not to say so long
I need a reason to stay...

Pet Shop Boys - Together.

Together we'll go all the way

Tell me what you want from me
Give me what I need from you
Anything you want to do
I'm gonna need to follow through
Everything I have is yours
I pray you understand because
Whatever you want to do
I'm gonna be with you

Together's amazing
Together we're blazing
Together we'll go all the way
Together
I'll cry with you
Together
I'll die with you
Together we'll go all the way

Now my heart is beating fast
Time is short, the die is cast
I can keep a secret
If you can really mean it and
Feel the luck beside us
and so much love inside us
Whatever we have to do
I'm gonna be with you

Together's amazing
Together we're blazing
Together we'll go all the way
Together
I'll cry with you
Together
I'll die with you
Together we'll go all the way

Everything's easy
in this state of mind
The world starts to fade
as we leave it behind

Together's amazing
Together we're blazing
Together we'll go all the way
Together
I'll cry with you
Together
I'll die with you
Together we'll go all the way
Together we'll go all the way

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, loved your goodnight song. Chuck Berry is always good even when he has no particular place to go. Thanks again for your comments.

Hey, Brit. How can you be down and gone and climb the stairs at the same? Razz

You make a fantastic late night dj, buddy. Particularly enjoyed The Pet Shop Boys' song Together; the Del-Vikings' Come Go With Me was fantastic. Enjoyed all the songs you played on WA2K radio.

Today is Joni Mitchell's birthday, so here is a dawn song by her.

I have always liked the concept of Joni Mitchell better than the actual Joni Mitchell. Not to put her down. She writes some wonderful songs.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I think I must have had Joni and Judy confused. Joni's voice is thin, methinks.

Ah, Loved that Sophie song, Texas. Right Beside You is great, especially the visuals

Well, Today is Al Hirt's birthday, so let's hear one by that man and his trumpet.

@edgarblythe,
ah, edgar, my mom loved The Sons of the Pioneers. That one by Ken Curtis was great. Drifting Along with the Tumblin' Tumble weed does bring back a memory. Ken had a fantastic voice, no?

Hey! Here's a jazz boy named Joe. Love his version of The Lady is a Tramp. Lyrics also.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4RPUcdfRlE&feature=related

She gets too hungry, for dinner at eight
She loves the theater, but doesn't come late
She'd never bother, with people she'd hate
That's why the lady is a tramp

Doesn't like crap games, with barons and earls
Won't go to Harlem, in ermine and pearls
Won't dish the dirt, with the rest of those girls
That's why the lady is a tramp

She loves the free, fresh wind in her hair
Life without care
She's broke, but it's o'k
She hates California, it's cold and it's damp
That's why the lady is a tramp

Doesn't like dice games, with sharpies and frauds
Won't go to Harlem, in Lincolns or Fords
Won't dish the dirt, with the rest of those broads
That's why the lady is a tramp
