It was Stan Freberg. That's the flip side of St George and the Dragonette.
That was a great song by Bunny, letty. A masterpiece.

@edgarblythe,
I thought it was that talented Stan, edgar. Thanks for your comment on Bunny.

Ah, Loved Peanut Vendor by Perez Prado, Texas. What a Mexican master was he.

Time for me to say goodnight. Having a wee bit of difficulty with my Outlook, so I believe that I shall do so with two fabulous men doing the same song.

First Mario.

Now, in English, Mr. Como.

Ryan Adams - Wonderwall.

Today is gonna be the day
That they're gonna give it back to you
By now you should've somehow
Realized what you gotta do
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do about you now

Backbeat the word is on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody feels
The way I do about you now

And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead the way are blinding
There are many things that I would
Like to say to you
But I don't know how

I said maybe,
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall

Today was gonna be the day
But they'll never bring it back to you
By now you should've somehow
Realized what you've gotta do
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do
About you now

And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead the way are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you
But I don't know how

I said maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall
You're my wonderwall
You're my wonderwall
You're my wonderwall....

My Brit birthday boy today is John Barry,OBE....
"John Barry, OBE [ awarded the Order of the British Empire ] (born John Barry Prendergast on 3 November 1933 in York, England) is an English film score composer. He is best known for composing 11 James Bond soundtracks and was hugely influential on the 007 series' distinctive style."
"The world will always remember John Barry for his association with James Bond. Yet --as enjoyable as the Bond scores have been-- much of his best work rests in the threshold of serious drama. Trademark styles involving lush strings and massive orchestrations have awarded him with respect and admiration by fans and other professionals. Always maintaining an elevated level of diverse, musical knowledge, his career has spanned four decades and evolved from a jazz-based pop rock talent to his current, classically oriented, mega-blockbuster status."

Good morning radio folks.

edgar, thanks again for your comments, and your goodnight song by Eddie Vedder was fantastic. Hmmm, something in that melody reminded me of another song. Love the way you say, "later". Razz

Hey, Brit. Your birthday boy and his 007 creations sent me to the archives.

@edgarblythe,
Great song by David Archuleta, edgar. I don't know him, but I do know that love is a bit like a Roller Coaster.

I like Something, too, Texas.

The dear girl from Georgia cleaned my kitchen, now I can't find anything. Rolling Eyes

Today is LuLu's birthday. The only song I know by her is To Sir with Love.

Unusual tribute, y'all.

Lil Wayne is getting released from lockup. Bill Clinton wished him well. (Chelsea had hipped him to that type of music).

@edgarblythe,
First, edgar, allow me to say I loved that cartoon. Sorry that I cannot access your video about Bill Clinton, Chelsea, and the rap guy. I did see that on the news, however.

Hey, Texas, bet you know this birthday girl.

Well, here's one of my favorite Canucks back with us. Ah, I love Morningtown Ride, and the visuals were so dear. Thanks for that one by The Limeliters, buddy.

Today is Charles Bronson's birthday, and although I remember him best for Once upon a Time in the West he has done many other great movies.
