I watched the new Hawaii 50 a few times. It has its good points, I guess. I watch if I think about it, but its not a priority.

The Fonz and William Shatner apparently took singing lessons from the same source.

I had forgotten P J Proby, until this morning, when I saw his name.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, thank you so much for keeping us on the air today. I do appreciate your comments as usual, and laughed at the remark about the Fonz and Shatner. I haven't seen the new Hawaii 50 at all.

Wow! two great artists, and you introduced them to your PD/Producer. P.J. Proby's With These Hands was truly awesome, Texas, and Gosdin's The Garden lovely.

Well, today is Otis Williams' birthday, and he was co-founder of The Temptations, so let's hear one from that great group.

Have a brief hiatus at this moment.

The Temptations, one of the greatest Motown groups.
That calls for a wall of sound. There are just human voices in this youtube.

Morrissey - Jack The Ripper.

Oh, you look so tired
With your mouth slack and wide
Ill-housed and ill-advised
Your face is as mean
As your life has been

Crash into my arms
I WANT YOU
You don't agree -
But you don't refuse me
I know you

And I know a place
Where no body is likely to pass
Oh, you don't care if it's late
And you don't care if you're lost
And oh, you look so tired
(But tonight you presume too much)
Too much, too much
And if it's the last
Thing I ever do
I'M GONNA GET YOU

Crash into my arms
I WANT YOU
You don't agree -
But you don't refuse me
I know you

Crash into my arms
I WANT YOU
You don't agree -
But you don't refuse me
I know you
Oh ...

Back to Halloween...
The word Halloween is first attested in the 16th century and represents a Scottish variant of the fuller All-Hallows-Even ("evening"), that is, the night before All Hallows Day. Up through the early 20th century, the spelling "Hallowe'en" was frequently used, eliding the "v" and shortening the word. Although the phrase All Hallows is found in Old English (ealra hālgena mæssedæg, mass-day of all saints), All-Hallows-Even is itself not attested until 1556.

Thanks to our Brit and our Texan, we get the idea of what Halloween is all about.

Walls of Sound; Jack the Ripper; Crumpkin's Pumpkins.

Who Was Jack the Ripper? Johnn Depp claimed it was the Masons. Who knows; any pyramid with one eye makes it spooky. Wink

Here's another, y'all, by the Moon Rays. Great jazz version

edgar, thanks again for your comment. Loved The Fab Four's The Blue Jay Way, Texas.

Hey, Latin george. I saw that movie but really liked the adaptation by werewolfboy. Hmmm. Wonder if the wolf bane is in bloom?

Another bird song, y'all.

edgar, Old Blue Eyes' Witchcraft was fabulous. Thanks, Texas, for your song and your comments on what we play here.

First, apologies to our Latin George. I was thinking about An American Werewolf in London.

Never, NEVER have I heard a more fantastic a capella group doing The Wizard.

Chapter 6 is a professional, all-male, a cappella, vocal ensemble which predominantly tours the United States Composed of six vocalists and one arranger. Chapter 6 is the only vocal ensemble to win both the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (2001) and The National Harmony Sweepstakes (2004). Chapter 6 was featured on American Idol Season 7 in conjunction with bandmate Luke Menard’s “Top 16” run.

Thanks, buddy, for the introduction.

Ah, Izzie, you are such a lovely lady and so trusting and that I feel you to be my surrogate daughter.

Thank you for Stevie's Happy Birthday song and The Witchy Woman by that unbelievable army was fantastic.

Long ago, I read a book called The Serpent and The Rainbow. I suggest that all of you read that one. It was about zombies and the reality of same.

My goodnight song will be that that bunch. Cool Plus, inspired by our George, one by Elton John.

First, Sir Elton.

Now, the Zombies.

Love to you all and I saw my love reflected in love when I looked in my magic mirror.

From Letty with that same love.
