The Corrs - Little Wing (Unplugged)

Now she's walking through the clouds
With a circus mind
That's running wild
Butterflies and zebras
And moonbeams and fairytales
All she ever thinks about is riding with the wind

When I'm sad she comes to me
With a thousand smiles
She gives to me, free
'It's alright, it's alright' she says
Take anything you want from me
Anything

Now she's walking through the clouds
With a circus mind
That's running wild
Butterflies and zebras
And moonbeams and fairytales
All she ever thinks about is riding with the wind

For thems that don't know the Jimi Hendrix original ....

Good morning, all.

edgar, Loved your goodnight song. Pleasures of the Harbor by Phil Ochs was awesome.

Hey, Brit. Did I hear an Irish whistle in that Corrs song? Loved Little Wing, London, and although I don't know Minnie Riperton, Memory Lane was great.

Two songs for the morning, y'all. These are a tribute to "apple day" in the UK.

Ah, Francis. What could be better than a tribute to a mother. Thanks for that lovely song and the visuals remind us that being a madre is difficult but divine.

alex, welcome back. Time to Say Goodbye by Andrea and Sarah was beautiful. Dear, dear, Andrea. Thank god he can sing even though he is sightless.

James Last with a memory of Grenada and Spain, y'all.

The lyrics to Lady of Spain.

Lady of Spain, I adore you
Right from the night I first saw you
My heart has been yearning for you
What else could any heart do?
Lady of Spain, I'm appealing
Why should my lips be concealing
All that my eyes are revealing?
Lady of Spain, I love you

Night in Madrid, blue and tender
Spanish moon makes silver splendor
Music throbbing, plaintive sobbing notes of a guitar
While ardent caballeros serenade:

Lady of Spain, I adore you
Right from the night I first saw you
My heart has been yearning for you
What else could any heart do?
Lady of Spain, I'm appealing
Why should my lips be concealing
All that my eyes are revealing?
Lady of Spain, I love you

Calling to edgar. HURRY BACK! Laughing

@Letty,
I don't think of the UK when I think of J Appleseed, letty. Neat video, nonetheless.
Pocketful of Miracles is also neatly done.

@Letty,
Thanks for those great songs Francis and Alex.
Those two songs (Grenada and Lady of Spain) sound great.
Well, I got the scoop on Herman the Hermit - gossip from Jerry Lee Lewis

@edgarblythe,
I just played those apple songs to tease Barry the Brit because he said it was apple day in the UK.

Thanks, for the comments on what we play here, edgar. You're a good boy.

That Herman the Hermit by Jerry Lee was great. Don't know that one, however. Thanks for the introduction, Texas.

Today is Dizzy Gillespie's birthday. Here's one by that great trumpet man.

More than one note, however. Razz

Sorry, cowboy. Missed your man with the golden arm. That was on TV last evening

@dyslexia,
Odd, dys. I thought you liked jazz. Strange that you didn't comment on Dizzy.

Here's one to match edgar's Hermit, y'all.

@Letty,
I like the songs from dys and dizzy. Herman's Hermits knows what's good. So does Clyde

@edgarblythe,
Ah The Glory of Love. Really like that one by Clyde, edgar. Yep, love tells a story all right. Thanks for your comments, Texas.

Strange, your song reminded me of Hank. Here's one of his better ones.

@Letty,
Lots of those old songs, such as We Live in Two Different Worlds, were written by Fred Rose.
Well, Etta James could get down too

@edgarblythe,
Ah, I love that one, edgar. Dance with Me Henry is one of my favorites. I didn't realize that Fred Rose wrote those old songs. Need to check him out.

This one is for a friend of mine that just finished laying a brick walk.

Thought I would play another Hank Williams song.

I used to have that Jethro Tull song on a record.
