Welcome back, Francis. Nah. Love is a Waiting Game. Smile

Couldn't get yours to play so I had to find Amy myself.

UhOh. Our Brit is down and gone. (nope, not the greyhound song) Loved that Jazz by the Samp Brothers. Di Mezzaluna was awesome, London.

This is sooooo neat, y'all.

@Letty,
I have only heard that Cat song a few times, letty, but I like it. Same with Back to the Island.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for the comments, Texas. Love Johnny Rivers' Poor Side of Town. Sorta reminds me of Down in the Boondocks.

Glad that you got the lead out, edgar, 'cause it's polka time on WA2K Razz

I know Perry Como did this one, but I always love to do different versions of the same song.

We'll try to get our Aussie friends in again, but the last time I did, Dutchy declined. Rolling Eyes

The Wiggles.

Cute variation on Hoop de Do, letty. Well, I am having a bit of discomfort from a sore ankle, so can't sit at the computer long at a time. Here is Jerry Lee Lewis with a Merle Haggard tune.

@edgarblythe,
Things appear to be working all right at the moment, edgar. Thanks for the comment on The Wiggles, buddy.

Your Jerry Lee song, Break my Mind was great, and for some reason, reminded me of Hank Williams. When I was a kid, we used to joke about what we referred to as hillbilly music. Now I see what a poet Hank Sr. was.

I'll check with our paramedics concerning your ankle, Texas. Razz

I have remarked before, when I was a boy, Hank was my favorite singer. That was before there was Elvis and Dylan. I did go through a period where I refused to listen to country music, but it was temporary.

I got some Frank, Jr, and Nancy

@edgarblythe,
Loved that one by Nancy and Frank, Jr., edgar. The Smothers Brothers were funny as well. As I have often remarked, in agreement with your observation, we go through ages and stages. That's a good thing, methinks.

I guess we better learn to "...take it easy..."

@edgarblythe,
I didn't know that Hank wrote Take These Chains From My Heart, edgar. Ray, of course, does a great job with it.Thanks for the info and the comment on that Eagle group.

Speaking of chains.

Sam Cooke apparently had a failure to communicate with someone. Laughing I love that song and most of his other songs. Here is another chain gang song

Loved your Harry song, edgar. That was a bunch all rolled into one.

Too bad about "Boy". Did Cheetah die?

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for The Animals song. Don't know that one, buddy, but I like it.

Eddie Vedder's Hard Sun was great. He was once with Pearl Jam.

It is always nice to get your feedback, buddy.

Time for me to say goodnight, and instead of going back to the island, I think I shall say goodnight by going back to the jungle.

First, Ian Anderson's great one.

Morning Ms Letty,Ed and all WA2K peeps.Live,as it should be....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIYzeqeqCN8
Ray Davies - In A Moment.

Sunlight and the city is barely awake
As all the early morning drifters make their way
Headlights in the distance too bright for my eyes
Still I love the dusk, the dawn, between times
They are mine

‘Cos you can't tell if it's day or night
Do we see the moon or the sunlight?
Everything around is so transitional
Momentary lapse of rational

Walking past the writing on the wall
Something apocalyptic
Then a momentary lapse of faith
Before I become more optimistic

Like a momentary loss of sight
Fleetingly it went so wrong from right
In a second it can change from night to day
Any second love can turn to hate

Sunlight and the city is barely awake
As all the seconds in our lifetime drift away
So live every moment and hold me so tight
A second changes day to night

I had a momentary loss of sight
Fleetingly it went so wrong from right
In a second you would change your point of view
In my hesitation I lost you

It only takes a moment sometimes
The difference between joy and pain
In a second you can look away
Turn around to find it's all changed

Because you can't tell if it's day or night
Do we see the moon or the sunlight?
Everything around is so transitional
Momentary laps of rational

Like a momentary loss of sight
Fleetingly it went from dark to light
In a second it can change from night to day
But in a moment hope will find the way
Letty

@Barry The Mod,
Ah, Brit, that song is so beautiful. In a Moment says so much and his voice with the acoustic guitar is a gentle way to awaken. Glad that you introduced us to Ray Davis. Listened twice, buddy.

The full moon is hanging in the sky over the water and nothing has more of an allure. Here's one by Diana Krall that reflects its glory and sadness; the stuff that poetry and music is made of.

Hope our edgar is all right.
