@edgarblythe,
Love that Crawdad Song by Jerry Lee, edgar. Thanks again for your comments. When I was a wee thing, we used to use crawdads/crayfish for bait in the cold rivers of Virginia.

More synchronicity, y'all. Don't know this guy, but he is great.

Shawn Patrick Stockman (born September 26, 1972) is an African-American R&B singer, best known as a member of the vocal group Boyz II Men

Stockman recorded a solo album as a side project during the late 1990s, but the LP was never released. He has written the songs "Forever", "Hot Thing", and "Let It Go"; the latter of which was played during the Disney movie Seventeen Again.

Shawn wrote and sang the song "Visions of a Sunset" for the Mr. Holland's Opus film soundtrack. He got his singing start with the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale at the age of 8

Love the vampire song by Buffy, edgar. Wonder where the term "...like a bat out of hell..." comes from? You know, of course, that I'm the resident witch. Smile

Hey, Brit. Tell Margo and Izzie we're thinking of them. We'll dedicate your song to the mooseman. Everything's going to be Okay. Friends Forever was beautiful.

Welcome back, osso.

Time for me to say goodnight

My goodnight song.

@Letty,
I could be wrong, but I believe Richie Havens wrote THe Vampire. There is one other song from that album of Buffy's that I haven't found yet on youtube. I search for it every few weeks.

That's a great Stevie Wonder song. He just got better and better over his career.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, WA2K and edgar.

Wow! I loved that song by Jackson Browne. The visuals were awesome as well. Thanks again for your comments.

It seems, however, that conspiracy theories of 9/11 still are circulating everywhere, Texas.

Today is the birthday of Sting/the police, so here is one by them.

Will check out Richie Havens myself, edgar. Thanks for the inspiration

My mistake, about Richie Havens and Buffy Sainte-Marie's song. Buffy composed it. Another song on that same album was composed by Richie, however. It was titled Adam. About Adam's not having ever to grow old. But for the fact he lost that right.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, edgar. Loved that Irish song In Days of Yore. Thanks for the info on the Buffy song, Texas, and the comment on Sting.

My favorite Irish song. It is my understanding that Moore's wife had smallpox.

@edgarblythe,
Love that one by Lulu, edgar. I remember her best for To Sir with Love.

Civil Disobedience by Thoreau inspired this wonderful man whose birthday is today.

Good tribute to Gandhi. His ideas could only work when the majority is somehow 'teachable.' There is the quandry: how to gain peace that the unreasonable can abide by? You can't simply exterminate populations. War seems to aggravate a situation, in most cases. Leaving very limited options - unless I am missing something.

@edgarblythe,
edgar I love Neil Diamond. Hello Again is one that I haven't heard before, but it was fantastic. Seems the sound in my wee studio is all right now.

Guess whose birthday is today?

My friend Santa Tomas e Lucas told me that two guys actually wrote the lyrics to that one.

@edgarblythe,
That song was about Don McLean, but you knew that, of course.Smile

Love Sam Cooke (especially his "Cupid Draw Back Your Bow) Lou Rawls is fabulous, and here is a different version of Girl from Ipanema.
