Wow! I hope our straight George is listening.Smile

I Can Still Make Cheyenne was great, edgar, as was The Big Bopper's wedding.

Hey, Brit. That was one beautiful photo and The Supreme's Reflections of the Way I used to Be was excellent.

Hey, mooseman, Check Yes or No was perfect as well. Yep, I know the routine. "you're not losing a daughter; you're gaining a son." He already has two.

Hmmm, How about a last dance, y'all.

Buble does justice to Ben E King and the Drifters' old song, letty.
George Jones puts a jaded spin on the whole wedding business.

edgar, thanks again for your comments, and George Jones' The Right Left Hand was quite fitting and proper.

Mooseman, Brad Paisley's I'm Gonna Miss Her sounded rather fishy. Smile

How about another wedding, y'all. this one is funny.

edgar, a lot of people did Froggie went a Courtin'. My mom's version said "...where will the wedding supper be.."

Thanks for Paul Stookey 's marry song, Texas.

Hey, Brit, that was a fabulous version of Dirty Dancing. Thanks for the smile and the memory.

You'll like this parody, buddy.

@Barry The Mod,
Hey, Brit, Loved that hip hop song. Yep JK Wedding Entrance dance was delightful.

edgar, just found out that I saw Jimmie Rodgers in Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come.

John Fox Jr.'s popular 1906 novel has been filmed several times, and converted into a number of theatrical presentations. The 1961 edition of Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come stars singer Jimmy F. Rodgers as a confused young man growing up in 1860s Kentucky. Sheltered from his brutal guardian by a friendly schoolmaster, Rodgers learns to love the tiny village of Kingdom Come and has no inclination of leaving. But when the Civil War breaks out, Rodgers finds himself at odds with most of his friends by joining the Union Army. His wartime experiences force Rodgers to grow up in a hurry, and he returns to Kingdom Come with a whole new outlook on his future existence. Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come was elaborately produced, but failed to establish Jimmy Rodgers as a movie star.

Well, time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with this guy.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

George, I had hoped that you would listen. You are most welcome. You gave a Jewish toast to your daughter? Love it.

Hey, John of Virginia. Nice to see you back.

Two songs for the early morning.

First, Connie Francis.

Now, a tribute to Lou Rawls.

Congratulations to George.
Good morning, radioland. It was a rough night, but I survived it. Hope you all are well. It's getting better all the time, here in Houston, weather-wise.

@Letty,
I listened to Fats Domino last night, but didn't comment then. Fats is a sentimental favorite with me, as well as an outstanding performer and great guy. If there is any scandal attached to his name, I never heard it.
That's a fitting song by Connie Francis. I always have liked her.
Tobacco Road, by Lou Rawls is a bit different than what I expect from him. But, he actually does it better than the original, in my opinion.

@edgarblythe,
Glad that you are all right, edgar. Love that one by Lady Day. I played P.S. I Love You by her on Izzie's ship. I think I like that one because the lyrics were by Johnny Mercer.

Pleased that you enjoyed Fats, Sonny,Connie, and Lou. Heard from our Urs. Glad that she is fine as well.

For some reason, I hear bells. Smile
