@edgarblythe,
Gershwin was great, edgar, and thanks for the comment. Love Louis and Keely doing Old Black Magic. Thanks for the memory, Texas.

Well, from black to blue, y'all. The "velvet fog" will be my goodnight song.

Still remember that blue moon rising out of the ocean so long ago.

Goodnight all,

From Letty with love but not blue:)

Good morning WA2K folks.

edgar, loved your goodnight song by Jermaine and Pia. When the Rain Begins to Fall was fantastic. Thanks again for your comment, and when you awaken, hope "all is right with the world".

Hey, Brit. Beth Orton and Terry Callier's Dolphins was awesome. Used to watch them all the time here. Haven't seen one in so long.

From dolphins to baby sea turtles, and Billy Joel tells it like it is for me this early morning.

Hey, Brit. Those green sea turtles hatch, then head for the light. When we were camping, if the lights were on in the campground, they would get disoriented and be all over the place. Often, predators would fly down and gobble them up. They don't care where they came from, buddy, but pure instinct tells them where to go.

Thanks for that Johnny Mathis song. You and edgar hurry back. Smile

Today is Peter Sellers birthday. What a talent, y'all. Here's a tribute to him.

@Letty,
Good video with B Joel's song, letty.
I enjoyed pretty much everything I saw with Peter Sellers. I think my favorite by him was the three roles he played in Dr Strangelove.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for the comments, edgar. I liked Dr. Strangelove as well. Billy's Joel's song reflected my having awakened "in the middle of the night". More later about that.

Love that one by Don Williams, and the visuals were marvelous. Another belief, Texas.

I used to listen to I Believe by Frankie Laine. Englebert does it well, too.

@edgarblythe,
That is the most hauntingly beautiful song that I have ever heard, edgar. I listened twice. What a fantastic combination of voices. Don't know II Divo but Celine I do know. The visuals were awesome as well. Love it in English and French, too. Thanks, buddy.

Here's another bit of advice from George and Nat.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! Love, "Say it Wouldn't happen to Me" by Johnny Rivers. Knew most of the folks on the visuals. You do such fabulous songs on WA2K radio, edgar.

Here's an answer from Chet Baker, Johnny. It Could Happen to You. Smile

and then, y'all, a tribute to a birthday girl.

First, Chet.

@Letty,
Chet Baker - great one, letty.

Patsy Cline is still very popular, on the oldies station here. Her songs hold up well after so many years.

Here's KD Lang with one I associate with Louis Armstrong

@edgarblythe,
Ah, K.D. Lang doing Kiss to Build a Dream on. Thanks, edgar. She has a great voice.

Don't know Shiny Toy Guns Frozen Oceans nor the vocalist but I love it, Texas.

Time for me to say good night, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First Kenny G's Moonlight. Here's a bit of info on the man.

Kenneth Bruce Gorelick (born June 5, 1956), better known by his stage name Kenny G, is a Grammy winning American, adult contemporary and smooth jazz saxophonist. His fourth album, Duotones, brought him breakthrough success in 1986. Kenny G is the biggest-selling instrumental musician of the modern era, with global sales totaling more than 75 million

Sandy Denny - Who Knows Where The Time Goes.

Across the evening sky, all the birds are leaving
But how can they know it's time for them to go?
Before the winter fire, I shall still be dreaming
I do not count the time.

For who knows where the time goes?
Who knows where the time goes?

Sad, deserted shore, your fickle friends are leaving
Ah, but then,you know,it's time for them to go
But I shall still be here, I have no thought of leaving
I have no thought of time.

And who knows where the time goes?
Who knows where the time goes?

And I am not alone while my love is near me
And I know it will be so until it's time to go.
So come the storms of winter and then the birds in spring again
I do not fear time.

For who knows how my love grows?
And who knows where the time goes?

Her story is here,click on Biography....
