@edgarblythe,
Love that one by Sonny James, edgar. You're the Only World I know is great.

Here's a new face on the horizon, and today is his birthday.

A little bit of info.

J.D. Fortune (born Jason Dean Bennison on September 1, 1973[1]), is a Canadian rock singer and songwriter. He was the winner of the 2005 CBS reality television series Rock Star: INXS, and is the lead singer of Australian rock band INXS.

@edgarblythe,
Oops, don't know Don Cherry either, but love his jazz, edgar. Universal Mother is awesome. Noticed that he did some stuff with Herbie Hancock, and that always reminds me of Herbie Mann, so here is a mix by a fabulous flautist.

@hingehead,
Thanks for the info, hinge. I recall having referred to you and Rockhead as the singing heads. Love to learn on WA2K.

Incidentally welcome back to our cyber station. Love you Aussies, and here's one for you.

@Letty,
I've been a huge fan of the work of both Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Enos for ages (mr Ambient and mr angular experimental pop).

But 'An Ending' Letty? Do you know something I don't Wink

Beautiful peace/piece.

@hingehead,
I saw it as a poet would see it, hingehead.

The ascent of the moon,
The setting of the sun,
The time when the day
Is almost done.

The ocean reflects
The rays red and gold,
The evening holds promise
Of stories untold.

Sorry, I was doing a bit of divergent thinking. Smile

I like hairy Herbie's music, letty.
Don't know Brian Eno, but that was a beautiful piece by him.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comments, edgar. Loved The Fab Four's The word Love. Never heard that one, Texas.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with three songs.

First by Nat and Oscar.

Now a surprise in the respect that James Joyce knew this one and could sing.

Clint Walker is another wonder, folks.

From Letty with love and a poem.

I recall Clint Walker in the old Cheyenne TV show and an episode in which he sang Jeannie With the Light Brown Hair.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, once again thank you for the comments. Love Brook Benton's So Many Ways.

Welcome back osso. Strange, Doctor Watson was my oldest sister's advisor. Smile

Well, dys, the lion is awake now, but I do love that song.

Missed you, Brit, and your Souvenir of China song by Jean Michel Jarre was great.

Incidentally, We dedicated another Barry the Brit song to you. Glad you're "....staying alive..."

Been on a search again. Trying to find out why the little finger is called a pinky. It's Dutch for finger.

Here's a ring for you, buddy.

Two songs for the morning, y'all.

First a tribute to The Challenger who carried the first teacher into space.

Now a new discovery for me. A great jazz man and his song. Today is his birthday.
